25.01.2022 Hands Up, who is using empathy mapping in internal/external client relations? I saw the light not too long ago and now use it in pretty much every relationship we have in the business. To make it work for us/me, I found that the most important thing is to have an easily accessible map and process which allows you to quickly analyze and identify, empathy map, those key problems, issues, and challenges of the other party.. The intel you collect is priceless.... The attached blog jumps into the #marketing 3.0 space with a focus on the 'why' of empathy mapping in this new day and age, specifically for customer relations. It is an insightful read. .. The New Meaning of Customer Relations https://www.brandingmag.com//the-new-meaning-of-customer-/ via @brandingmag ##marketingIntelligence

24.01.2022 A nice milestone achievement this week at MCB Business Partners has been the trademark registration of our 'go-to' problem-solving, goal-seeking algorithm the Recursive Ratchet. A big thanks need to go our mentor, collaborator, and brains trust of the consulting side of our business, Clint Bruin. 1st class thinker, unbeatable innovator, determined problem solver and all-round nice guy. Thanks must also go to our growing number of clients who have knowingly, and quite often u...nknowingly, helped us test and refine our approach around the education and delivery of the Recursive Ratchet. It's been great to watch your hard work turn into success you know who you are! Our CTA... If you need to transform your organisation, find your innovation, drive growth or just get better results, let us introduce you to the Recursive Ratchet... 20.01.2022 This will be one of, if not, the best relationship management role in the Hunter for 2020! In 2019 - 20, MCB Business Partners, working with the board of directors and its management, have had the opportunity to help re-think and re-position this organisation.. the transformation is exciting, needs a gun relationship manager to help drive the next phase. This is a fantastic role, heaps of scope and opportunity to make it your own. If you are a seasoned relationship manager ...or genuine BDM you must check this out! #Hunter #customerrealtionship #BusinessDevelopment https://www.seek.co.nz/Job/50118042

19.01.2022 Wow.. funding in for the track component of Branxton to Greta Memorial Cycleway! Big effort put in from my friends at the Central Hunter Business Chamber and the foundation board, and supporters, of the charity, developing the project, Branxton Greta Memorial Cycleway Ltd. Big call needs to go out to the local business champion and community advocate Brett Wild, owner of @hunterpetmotel, who's been pushing hard for this project to be funded for more than 4 years. He's shown... great character through the many high's and low's of trying to make this project happen. Great to see all of his hard work paying off. Big shout out also needs to go to Cessnock City Mayor, @BobPynsent and the @CessnockCityCouncil wider team.... the relationship with Brett and team had a few speed humps at the start, but it was great to see everyone work through their issues to make things happen This will be a great project for the Hunter, make sure you keep it on your radar. https://bgmc.org.au//branxton-to-greta-cycleway-receives-/

14.01.2022 Slow Internet is the #1 tech frustration for workers.... and it does have a significant effect on team morale, a lot more than you might think. Because we sit on a big, fat, fast internet pipeline here at the Dashworks CoWork MakeSpace in Warners Bay, we often reflect on the times when we've been working on horrible, slow, skinny, shared internet connections. This mornings water cooler chat with one of my co-work buddies, Derrek Lush, one of the masterminds behinds Dantia's ...co-work setups, was on internet speeds. A question posed by myself to Derrek was... 'has anyone done a study on how slow internet affects employee morale'? The answer was yes, our friends at Deloitte Australia (Deloitte) have jumped into this space and have uncovered some interesting insights that I think all business owners and companies should be thinking about if they want to have happy, productive employees. Interesting & Insightful Read: https://www.itnews.com.au//slow-work-internet-frustrates-a Now, if you want to jump on the same big, fat, fast internet as me and be really happy and productive.. connect with the Dashworks family, and let them know that I sent you #cowork #fastinternet #happyemployees #productivity #watercooler

12.01.2022 Illawarra... oh what a region!! For the past several months we've had the privilege of working with members of the BlueScope team, and other regional industry and education leaders to set about the activation and launching of the NSW Department of Education, STEM Industry School Partnerships (SISP) Program in the Illawarra region. Officially being kicked off this week, I have no doubt that the Illawarra will be an absolute powerhouse in delivering STEM education in NSW and po...tentially Australia in the very near future. Well done to everyone involved... looking forward to working with you all in the program's next phase. #stem #illawarra #advancedmanufacturing #regionalleadership #steelmaking https://sispprogram.schools.nsw.gov.au//illawarra-students

01.01.2022 What is this? One of the most interesting characters we had come into the MCB Business Partners family in 2019 has had an illustrious career as a system engineer specialist and some fair-dinkum experience as an innovation and product development champion. So after being told, with brutal honesty, how our process for helping our clients to navigate all manner of business challenges and getting bankable results, was just ok, we started the process of re-engineering our whole ap...proach, the model of delivery with systems engineering and applied innovation being at the core of everything we do. Now, the picture. This is at the heart of everything we do. It is our backbone, it is what gets our clients results. There are a few clues in this message as to what it is or could represent. Have a crack at it... I will be revealing more information on it next week. To our current clients and friends... no showboating, keep your knowledge to yourself:)
