Provides reasonable shelter though further shelter over the chook tractor is definitely required in summer. Steel perches are okay but might be too cold in winter for perching birds. The plastic egg laying boxes are pretty small but adequate. The tractor enables chooks to fertilise and mostly weed the soil area so that garden beds can be developed. The delivery service was excellent."

Guess how many chicken tractors are loaded up and ready to go. First correct guess (one guess per person - multiple guess not allowed) can get $50 off their next order. 04.01.2022 McCallum Made is joining the Facebook advertising boycott for July. (Im sure Zuckerberg is worried now! ). Social Media is supposed to be a wonderful way to bring communities together. However if trolls, bots and extremists are welcome, but poultry breeders selling chickens are not then clearly all Facebook cares about is profit and not their communities).

02.01.2022 Ill probably end up regretting this but here goes .... During a normal year couriers lose about 4-5 deliveries costing us as a business about $2000 pa. Its annoying but there is not much we can do about it as couriers have no responsibility for anything they transport because "we are not common carriers". However in the past 8 weeks, we have had one chicken tractor "disappear", another smashed in transit to the point where I had to collect it from the client and take it to ...the tip, and (wait for it) 9 boxes of electric netting and an energiser lost in transit. And dont think Im just cheap and use bad couriers - it has taken 3 different courier companies to lose all the stuff highlighted above. So we are now looking at $6000 of stock stolen, smashed or lost in 8 weeks (we have replaced all orders at our cost). This kind of careless incompetence just has to stop. If government wants to support small business it is time for an inquiry into the freight industry and couriers who refuse to take responsibility for items in their care should not be allowed to trade.
