10.01.2022 Our big girls blouse the second (white Sussex chook) was attacked by a dog visiting our cellar door on the weekend. Her legs are both broken and she isn’t eating or drinking. The other chickens are giving her a hard time as she is the weakest link now. We will need to put her to sleep so her death isn’t slow and painful, she will be the 4th chicken attacked and killed by a dog visiting our farm where our animals all live in harmony together. We have 50 chickens who are an integral part of farm life. I don’t want sympathy but just need to let visitors know their dogs need to be on leads all the time when they visit now, so our animals are safe. Thanks, love Lisa
