21.01.2022 A PLEA TO HELP SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE GOLF INDUSTRY As I finally hear that my club has reopened and I’m able to start coaching again, it got me thinking ab...out all the Proshop’s attached to the course you play at. When we finally come out the other side of this in 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, whenever it will be, please think of all golf professionals that own their own Proshop’s. These shops are an essential part of YOUR club and I pray that most of them can remain open and not be forced to shut up shop. I understand that in the past you have shopped at the big chain stores because they sell a glove you like $2 cheaper than the pro at your club, or a dozen balls $5 cheaper than your pro, or you’ve bought clubs based on finding the cheapest deal. This is going to be tough on everyone but I plea you think about spending your money at your local club and proshop. The big chains will survive... your local proshop may not. Fellow golf pros & shop owners, share the hell out of this post so we can hit more and more golfers around the country so they end up supporting you when this all blows over. I hope your business survives!
