24.01.2022 Our first Market Day was a success; the pantry never looked so green! McCracken St Food Share Pantry is looking forward to the next one, which is on Tuesday 1 June, 2021 from 12PM and lasts until the produce runs out. 21.01.2022 Market Day is our fresh produce day at McCracken St Food Share Pantry, every first Tuesday of every month from 12pm. It is a collaborative effort between Kensington Neighbourhood House, Kensington Community Farm Collective, and Kensington Stockyard Food Garden in order to bring fresh chemically free and pesticide free locally grown produce to our community. We need two volunteers each first Tuesday of every month from 10AM-12PM to sort, document, and weigh the produce. You will also be putting them out in the Food Share Pantry.

20.01.2022 McCracken St Food Share Pantry often gets donations from the many programs that are run by Kensington Neighbourhood House. Yesterday, we got all these lovely tomatoes from the Healthy Living and Learning group courtesy of Erika! Thank you goes to Erika, and also Mike, a lovely volunteer, for bringing them to us We got to love the spirit of giving in Kensington!

07.01.2022 McCracken St Food Share Pantry has gone through many iterations since it first opened its doors just over a year ago. This year, we have many exciting plans for the Food Share Pantry. To action those plans, we need volunteers! We're seeking two volunteers for our Market Day, every first Tuesday of each month, to weigh, sort, document the produce and put them out in the pantry.
