25.01.2022 Help protect our sea creatues along with their environmemt and keep our lovely beach pristine. Take 3 or take a bag plus gloves and really go for it! Spot on for great exercise plus a wonderful way to contribute to our community.

21.01.2022 Take a stroll or ride along the McCrae stretch of the bay trail through to Anthony's Nose and beyond. This lovely scenic thoroughfare is popular with locals and tourists; it passes the town eateries and shops, lighthouse and playground with en masse indigenous plants gracing the path en route. The McCrae Homestead Coastal Group help maintain the natural environment in the area and seek interested people to join them as volunteers.

19.01.2022 It's a little quieter now... it was easy to see that our holiday visitors also enjoyed the beautiful beachside, eateries and other local attractions. Hubby and I always find kyaking not too far out from the shoreline a serene pleasure. Quite a few SUPS to be seen as well. http://www.visitmorningtonpeninsula.org//Towns/McCrae.aspx

14.01.2022 Good lady Wife and I walked down from the golf course, behind the plaza, along Pt Npn Rd, up the steps and back under the freeway up to home. Foggy and cool this morning, however the sun broke through just as we got home. Such a beautiful place to live all year around.

13.01.2022 New birds about town. You may have heard or spotted the Currawong around the McCrae hills or further aflight.

10.01.2022 Stunning day! Rode along the gorgeous bay trail from McCrae via Anthony's Nose to Safety Beach where we enjoyed a cuppa at the Cafe Del Sol van. You can avoid riding on the road by sticking to the trail however be aware you may need to hop off and pad alongside your pushie in some spots (yes that skinny path along beach wall along Anthonys Nose in particular) unless quite confident. A bell to alert walkers sharing the trail is also a great idea if peddling is your style.
