25.01.2022 Summer championships will start on Friday 21February 2020 and continue for following two Fridays. Please, all First and Second Claim swimmers, email me with your entries, including times and Date of Birth as 1 October 2019 and I will organize the program. All swimmers who are Second Claim, will be able to enter the events of the Championships but will only be awarded attendance points for the competition. Cheers MCPK Race Secretary

24.01.2022 After a sweltering 45degree day at Blacktown pool for MSW Speedo Heats we have some amazing results. Huge Fly PBS for Daphne, Benji, Nicho and Analise. All swimmers did amazing! Thomas achieved two 3rd places and will progress to the Speedo Finals to represent MSW

24.01.2022 Cancellation - 2020 MSW Long Course Sprint Meet. On advice from Swimming NSW the Area (MSW) has made the decision to cancel the 2020 MSW Long Course Sprint Mee...t on 21/03/2020 to be held at Blacktown Aquatic Centre. This decision was not made lightly. We had to factor in the health and well-being of the swimming community. A request has been issued to Swimming NSW to have refunds re-issued to the nominated credit/debit card. Please allow at least 10 business days for this transaction to appear in your account. MSW will also not be hosting the Winter Sprint Series in May 2020. Our next scheduled event will be the 2020 MSW Short Course Championships to be held at SOPAC on 13/14 June 2020. The 2020 Annual Presentation will still be on Saturday 16/05/2020 at St Johns Park Bowling Club as the number of attendees will be below the suggested limit. Thank you again for your ongoing support in putting the health and safety of our swimmers first.

23.01.2022 Sydney South West Regional Carnival. 7 Mcredie kids gave it their all. Special mention the Daphne, Analise and Alexia who along with a school friend made the Final in the relay placing 4th overall. So close girls!!!! 23.01.2022 Additional recommendations for community sport came into effect this week (from 19 August 2020) and will remain effective for a period of six weeks (until 30 September 2020). For our club the main update is the recommendation NOT to car pool with people from different household groups where possible. Reminder also that we have a spectator limit of 1 person per family only on pool deck.... 19.01.2022 Latest news: COVID-19 Last night, Swimming NSW revised its current advice on COVID-19 in light of recent government recommendations. This includes:... From 16 March 2020 (today), Swimming NSW advises against hosting any swimming competition in NSW for a period of 30 days. SNSW has postponed the 2020 NSW Junior State Championship. SNSW has instructed all staff (not including pool deck coaches) not to attend NSW Swimming Programs for a period of 30 days. Our advice of 8 March, relating to self-quarantining and international travel, is also updated to now include all international travel to any country, NOT just those countries listed. We will continue to update the swimming community via our dedicated COVID-19: SNSW advice page on our website. 13.01.2022 Hello McCredians and Friends, McCredie Park SC has decided to cancel its 40 Year Anniversary Meet on 5 April 2020, due to the current status of the corona virus spread. It is a very hard decision to make, however many sporting events have been either cancelled, suspended or curtailed as the virus continues to develop. It is a fluid situation, and decisions will be made , as authorities and actions are proposed. McCredie Park will advise SNSW and Swim Central of the cancellati...on as of Monday 16 March 2020, and authorise Swim Central to refund all entries paid to all parties. The Club still wants to celebrate its 40th Year and will advise in due course another available date, later in the year depending on the conditions available. Please Keep Tuned. 13.01.2022 Hello McCredie Park Past Members, it is just under a month and our 40 Year Anniversary Development Meet will be hosted, swum and enjoyed by all. I believe our preparation are well on the way, but I have not advised all old members of what we are thinking of doing to record this event, not just for the current members, but also for all the past members.... Firstly, All past members and Life Members are invited to attend and watch the current crop of very young swimmers do the Club proud. Secondly, if any of the past members are interested McCredie Park suggests that end of the meet as schedule, we organize some individual or relay races (which are not on the program) to rekindle the past passions of the Club. To achieve this I will need your cooperation, by you all interested sending me your names and (approximate) ages, what races you would like to do, so that we can determine, by the rsvp's received what races we can organise. We thank you for listening and please let us all make the event a great reunion and celebration of this Club. 10.01.2022 Hello McCredians, HAPPY NEW YEAR of 2020! McCredie Park SC will be celebrating its 40th year on 8 April 2020.... To celebrate this event the Committee has decided to host "40 Year Development Meet" at Guildford Pools on 5 April 2020. Program is attached. Need less to say the meet is a celebration of 40 years of Swimming and all current members, old members, Life Members are invited to attend. There will a celebration race of old and cureent faces (not shown on the program) at the completion of the relays. Please contact Leo Repeti if you wish to attend and compete in this celebration race. Please join us on Sunday 5 April 2020 and let us remember our 40 years and promise ourselves a long future thereafter!

08.01.2022 Well thats a wrap! Another McCredie Park year is over. We finished off with a bang with Sprint night and the Christmas party. Thanks to everyone for another fun year. We may only be a tiny club but we are a big family x

08.01.2022 Hello Members of McCredie, it has been sometime since we all met around the pool to watch our fantastic kids swam their "guts" out and were very pleased (some not so much) of their efforts. We on the pool deck were also pleased that they did manage their swim in the best possible way and complimented them on whatever time they did, or whether Dennis or Graham spoke to them...............Well that was a few months a...go, and sadly it will be some more time before we get down to the pool deck and the water. It has been very quite on Fridays and I can say that those races and the social interaction is well missed! I hope you are fairing as well as possible and managing the social and work separation, the new job as a home teacher and the kids are behaving. Hope to see you all soon and we can restart the trip to the Friday night Sanctuary at Guildford. All take care, Leo Secretary See more

06.01.2022 Hello McCredians, Cumberland Council advised today, Monday 23 March 2020, Guildford Pools will be closed to the all public as 12:30 PM indefinitely.
