06.01.2022 I'm finally increasing my service prices and I wish I did it sooner.. Just last week I was approached by a recruitment agency with two digital marketing manager roles they thought I would be the perfect candidate for. The salaries were literally DOUBLE what I was earning in my full time marketing role a little over a year ago in my last job. I'm talking huge 6 figure salaries . The email put a huge smile on my face. Not because I wanted to learn more about the roles ...but because I WASN'T interested in leaning about them. In the last 6 months I've gone through a HUGE growth phase and if you told me last year that I would be turning down a potential job offer for a job I used to dream of I would have called you crazy. But it did make me reflect on why I left my full time marketing role last year - I felt undervalued . I worked there for 3 years and watched the business grow but as the business grew the more undervalued I felt - so I decided to leave to pursue my dreams so I could feel valued again . But lately I've realised now I'M the one undervaluing myself. On average I charge a whopping 50% less for my Facebook / Social Media Management services compared to other creatives in this industry . I need to start charging my worth and valuing my experience, my offerings and myself or else I may as well go back to working a salary job for someone else. 04.01.2022 I'm finally doing it.. I'm increasing my pricing across most of my services over the next few months. I've been full time in business for just over a year now and haven't increased my pricing up until recently for only 1 service. I often get told by my clients "wow! Your fees are SO reasonable" or "I'm currently paying over 5x the amount you charge to an agency". ... For the quality and experience that I offer my clients I know for a fact that I'm undercutting myself but the main reason I've held off until now was to be affordable to small businesses who had taken a big hit during the pandemic. So if you've been thinking about booking in for any of the services I offer you have until the end of October to do so If you book in before the end of October you'll lock in the current pricing until the end of the year.
