10.01.2022 23rd March 2020 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19 We would like to keep you informed of the changes that will be happening within our business due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic.... McDonalds Wholesalers hold the safety of our staff and customers as our highest priority as we work through the current situation We understand this is an unsettling time and encourage everyone to remain calm and be respectful to each other. We are monitoring the situation day by day and making changes as required and will be following health guidelines recommended by government agencies. We are taking the following measures: We will be encouraging staff to practice good hygiene and regularly wash their hands. Hand sanitizer and/or gloves will be distributed to drivers and staff. Additional cleaning of counters and high traffic areas to be conducted. If staff feel unwell, they will be asked to go home or if they have returned from international travel, they will be required to self-isolate in accordance with government guidelines. Staff to take measures to reduce contamination such as: o Social distancing of 1.5m. o Covering your mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and proper disposal of tissues. o Avoid shaking hands. CURRENT RESTRICTIONS WITH ENTRY TO THE WAREHOUSE AND SUPPLY OF GOODS The warehouse will be closed to all customers as from Monday 23rd March 2020 and will remain closed for two weeks at this point in time. This decision has been made to ensure the continuity of supply to our existing customers, and, to the Aged Nursing Homes, Health Care Institutions and Hospitals that we service. We ask account holders also not to panic buy. There will be some restrictions on high demand stock items so we can attempt to service everyone as best we can. We are currently experiencing major out of stocks from suppliers and anticipate this for the next four to six weeks, but once this initial period has passed the flow of stock should return to normal We will contact customers in our usual manner to advise them of any out of stocks that they may have on their orders. To ensure that we maintain the highest of health & safety standards we will no longer be having face to face meetings. However, please be fully assured that our staff are available to be contacted by phone or email to discuss any requirements or questions you may have. Our sales staff will continue to contact customers by phone for their order requirements as our sales team will not be on-site visiting customers.
