22.01.2022 Some great improvements on this kx450 we dynoed for Project Forty Six. +2hp on an exhaust on any bike is huge, this made +2 the whole way through the rev range without robbing any bottom or top. If ground clearance wasn’t a problem we would run these guys for mx.

21.01.2022 One of the most common questions guys ask is how to adjust there suspension now that it has been set up. The best advice is inside your owners manual. The base setting inside the standard bikes forks and shock suit a wide variety of riders (they don’t know who is going to buy the bike) if you are outside the intended target audience of the bike you brought. ie.a 250 is setup for around a 75-80kg rider and if your 13 years old and weigh 50kgs there is not much point in even r...iding the bike standard, you should have the suspension revalved and re sprung to suit your weight. If you are in the target audience then you should put some hrs on the bike fiddle with the clickers and have your suspension revalved to fix any faults/problems you may find with it. Revalving the suspension narrows the target audience to a particular rider/weight. Where the clickers are set from your suspension tuner should be somewhere around the middle so you have room for adjustment either way, they are designed to be adjusted by the owner for different tracks and riding conditions. You will find a lot of handy information in the owners manual as to how to adjust these. Simply not touching a clicker is not going to get the most out of your suspension. I was told a pretty true quote the other day. There are normally 20 something clicks on your suspension, that means that 19 of them are wrong See more

06.01.2022 Our Review on the new SYDNEY MX DOME!!! Well we have to say that the new Sydney Mx dome is just an amazing FACILITY. From the time your drive in the Dome itsel...f is an amazing structure to see, the car park is unreal, no parking in a dusty or muddy car park at the normal ride park facility which is great. When you walk in to the actual facility itself it’s is just unreal, they have an awesome set up so you can sit around and hang out before and after you ride with a fully functioning cafe, with plenty of tables and chairs to chill out and soak up the atmosphere, great new and clean bathrooms along with great staff to help out with any questions you may have. The experience of riding in the dome is unreal, from entering the big airlock roller doors and then entering the track itself is just great. The track itself when you first look at it looks super slick but we were super surprised that the track is super tacky with plenty of traction and we spent the day there watching and riding and the track didn’t break down at all even with all the bikes that were in it. We were a little concerned about the cost of each session compared to paying a flat rate that you normally would at your normal ride park facility to ride all day, well we were super surprised to say that the 3/15 minute sessions we did was more than enough (to be honest I was cooked and happy to sit inside and have a coffee and something to eat after my sessions were done) if you could go flat out around the super busy track for the full 15 minutes the dome is then you should be racing as a professional racer. The way it all runs is unreal, you have your 15 minute session and within 45 minutes you are back on the track, the time goes past really quickly and it doesn’t feel like you were hanging around waiting, we we were actually wishing we had a little longer (actually a lot longer) break before our last session. The other unreal thing is your bike stays really clean compared to going to the standard bike park, you are not spending hours cleaning mud off your bike or cleaning the mud off weeks later. What we hear about the track layout is it will be changed on a regular basis to keep it interesting and challenging for everyone. We think the facility is amazing and it’s a massive credit to the people behind getting this all up and running!! We will be riding here on a weekly basis for sure.!!!
04.01.2022 Looking forward to the opening of the indoor mx dome. We will be setup down there on the day, come down for a look and a chat. Really exciting for the motocross industry.
03.01.2022 Thanks for the support James! Remember guys now with some downtime in riding/racing is a perfect time for some bike maintenance and get up to date on your top end rebuilds etc We recommend a clutch, piston, cam chain and valve springs be replaced every 30-40hrs on your 250f and every 40-50hrs on the 450. Get in touch for a quote today!
02.01.2022 This 2018 ktm250sx came to us on Monday with a customer fitted genuine big bore 300 kit and a well jetted Keihin pwk carburetor. We dynoed it at 42hp making peak at 7500 rpm. We ported and reshaped the combustion chamber, set the correct squish, and re dynoed today, making a whopping 10 more hp. We were disappointed when it first came only making such low numbers, a good stock 250sx makes around 45 peak hp at around 9300 rpm. By fitting the bore kit he lost peak but gained a lot of bottom end, great for slow hill climbs and single trail but the opposite to what you would like on a motocross track. Now with our porting and head this thing will rev like an animal and pull just as hard.
