23.01.2022 One runner tonight at Penrith with Tiarn once again taking the reins on KENNY JAY in race 1 at 6:10pm AEDT from barrier 7. Glenn will also drive in this race for Geoff Day on ART OF GRANGE from barrier 10 as well as a few other drives throughout the night. Good luck and safe travels to all involved tonight

23.01.2022 This week, the decision has been made to retire Riga Doon. He has been a headache for a few years but has become part of the furniture here. From getting sick, to sore and being a general pain in the bum, we all have a soft side for old Reg, none more than our little co-trainer Milla, who is ecstatic she can finally claim her horse. Reg will always be loved and looked after by us, most certainly not a champion but a kind, gentle old boy who deserves to be spoilt by his little girl. Thank you Reg for the memories and the headaches, enjoy retirement old boy

21.01.2022 For those who have followed the page from the start, you would remember Outofthefire (Elwin). For those who are new, let me give you a back story. We purchased Elwin in 2015 as a trotter for Tiarn to drive. A modest $7000 purchase, who wasn’t quite the easiest horse to handle early days so Glenn and Leigh did most of the steering until he settled where tiarn did a lot of his Tuesday driving. Elwin took us on a journey we never could have imagined for him. From first Menang...le winner for Tiarn as a driver as well as being Leigh’s first Menangle driving win, he was Tiarn’s first Saturday night metro winner and assisted in the payment of their wedding where he earnt the nickname the wedding fund. Unfortunately, one night whilst lined up to race at Menangle he uncharacteristically become quite agitated when restrained and struck into his tendon sheath and nicked his tendon. He was treated immediately on site by Dr Andrew Argyle, if it weren’t for his quick thinking and treatment and follow ups, our beautiful boy made not have had such a bright outcome. After a long period off where he was cared for by Maria and Greg on their beautiful Coopernook property and steady return he no longer had the fire in his belly and the decision was made to retire him. This is where Vanessa Miziniak enters. She took him on and loves him, she has given him the home he deserved and far exceeded our expectations. He has gone from strength to strength with her and it gives me great pleasure to share this update of him See more

15.01.2022 JEFFCOATE is set to make his debut tonight at Penrith in race 7 at 9:13pm from the gem of a draw, barrier 1. This horse will be riding with some very loud angel wings as we remember John Red Hot Jeffcoate who sat alongside Glenn only a couple of years ago when he inspected the horse then sadly passed away that night. His nephew, John owns a share and we’ll all be hoping for some Red Hot spirit!

14.01.2022 Some horses come along and they’re absolute headaches! Our boy nippers (SOHONIP) was a headache on his best day, a migraine on his worst, but we all had a soft spot for the cheeky little boy who lost his mum as a foal. Always nipping at things, looking for something (or someone) to chew on and just wanting to have a cuddle and a pat. Though he didn’t fire on the race track he has landed on his feet thanks to Nsw Harness Rehoming and Sarah for providing him the education he needed to be rehomed. He will now look forward to a life of trail rides, pony club and even some light horse re-enactments! We can’t wait to keep you all updated on his progress with #lifeafterracing

11.01.2022 KENNY JAY has been home now for just a bit over 5 weeks after being jogged up back in Parkes with part of his ownership group Darren & Teresa Byrnes. They’ve done a wonderful job with him and we look forward to seeing him back to the trials in approximately a fortnight

09.01.2022 We’re off to Menangle today where we have two runners. First cab off the rank is WALKABOUT CASCADE making his race debut in the 3 year old foundation trot heat. This is race 3 at 2:46pm. He will start from barrier 1 with Glenn on board. Later in the day GENTLE GIANT NZ will have his second start for the stable after a nice 4th last week. First cab off the rank is Bryse with the horse trained by his father David in Race 1 from barrier 3 with Clarenden Dazzler at 6:12pm Then Tiarn with Kenny Jay in race 7 from barrier 10 at 9:15pm then we’re in the last with Dizygotic Lass from barrier 9 with Glenn on board at 9:45pm. Tim also comes to the races with two runners, Glenferrie Duster to be driven by Glenn in race 6 at 8:45pm from barrier 8 and the last also with The Crom with Bryse on board from barrier 2. 06.01.2022 Very impressed by first starter MEADOW BLUE CHIP last night at Penrith, she snagged the spot three back on the pegs and was lucky enough to continue to hug the pegs and get an inside run to finish off third. We have an extremely happy owner and the smart filly by Heston Blue Chip has pulled up bright as a button this morning, we look forward to watching Missy’s career blossom and hope we can take her owner on an incredible ride!

05.01.2022 The baby of the team Rocket got his name back and will race as WHERESTHEBOY. Today we brought him to Menangle where he will have his first look at the gate in a green trial. Rocket is a half brother to some nice horses including Reggae Cowboy, San Domino and Lady Euthenia. Fingers crossed the blood lines run strong in him

04.01.2022 After a chaotic first attempt, I’m happy to report both horse and driver are fine, although Glenn claims he stretched parts of his legs he’s not stretched in some time, we finally got away after third time was the charm and ran on to finish 6th with WALKABOUT SUNRISE today at head quarters

We’ve put a lot of time and patience into this big mare and with Bryse on board this mare will go around at 5:03pm which is the last on the card from barrier 8. Glenn will also have a drive in this race on ever consistent old girl JUST TOOTSIE for Norm Warland from barrier 6, good luck to all connections Monday. On Tuesday we have... smart little trotter WALKABOUT SUNRISE having her first start for us. She is first up from a spell and Glenn is quite familiar with this mare having previously driven her for the Kilroy family. She’s drawn nicely in barrier 3 in the first event on the card at 1:54pm. *pictured - CATHY BROWN NZ, doing what she does best.. eating!
