This saw the unusual situation where the MCFC W35A team compete against the MCFC WAAA team for the Women's All Age Division 3 crown.... On August 9, 2020 the teams had their first match against each other at Mt Kuring-gai oval. Original match report and photos courtesy of Rob Wing follows: --- MCFC WAAA vs W35A/WAAB at MT KURING GAI WAAA = Green shirt W35A = Gold shirt It's a special day in the history of Mount Colah Football Club when the club's Women's All Age team gets to compete against the club's Women's Over 35 team and visa versa in the same competition. This is a club first and history in the making. It is freezing cold. Rain is falling. There's wind gusts that turns umbrellas inside out. There's puddles of water on the pitch and it is muddy and slippery. Both teams play outstanding football today in these difficult conditions. WAAA 1 W35A/WAAB 1
