19.01.2022 Bianca Williams from Young Australia presented her Barka Friends show to us today! Using both contemporary & historical photographs the children were introduced to the ‘Barwon River’ that runs through her home town of Brewarrina. She shared the story of Baiame and the creations of the Fish Traps. The children had the privilege of touching jewellery that was made out of natural materials from the enviornment, Abalone, Bark paper & much more. ... Such a fun & interactive experience for the children to become familiar with the Aboriginal culture.

18.01.2022 Dr Radi from DMMSG came to visit us at school today to teach the children about dental hygiene, good foods & sometimes foods & how we should be brushing our teeth! The children then got their teeth checked & cleaned At McGraths Hill Learning Centre we strive to offer many different opportunities to cover all areas of development. It’s important for children to have positive interactions with health practitioners to ensure they’re comfortable for any future visits....
