The engine check light appears when there is a fault in the engine control system, which has an effect on the emissions the vehicle emits. 06.01.2022 I have not seen this before. On a small car with the fuel tank mounted underneath the car, in front of the rear wheel, has made contact with some thing. This has dislodged the baffles inside the tank which has made contact with the fuel pump housing.The damage to the fuel pump and housing has restricted the flow of fuel to the motor. The car was unable to be driven.
