25.01.2022 People really knew how to cook from scratch. Amazing photos.

22.01.2022 We are keeping the indigenous tea special going and keep banging on about it. Our intention was always to create a market for these beautiful Indigenous Australian products. It is an easy way to try them all and find your favourite. It contains retail packs of Gulbarn, Jilungin, Lemon Myrtle, Kulbanyi and Waltzing Myrtle at a 25% discount. Shop online now or at our Queen Vic Market store!

21.01.2022 The BYO coffee cup is back and we're celebrating its great return. If you're yet to make the move, we'll have something for you - glass, plastic, small, large and even collapsible - and a design style for everyone. Bring yours in and show it off or buy yours via us when you're next in, or online now!

21.01.2022 Our La Mattina beans - strong, creamy with a hint of orange zest. La Mattina is made up of a strong mix of beans from Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Brazil - all in all it's a balance of strength and softness. With a full body and a powerful flavour, La Mattina avoids the bitter edge of some other strong blends. A perfect morning coffee, check it out here: https://bit.ly/3oXKx4q

21.01.2022 We know our coffee and tea bags are not compostable or recyclable, but we do know they last for years. In the long run, a bag that goes that distance is worth more than a single use item. Reuse it time and time again and you'll be better off. Or you can purchase one of our McIver's Calico Bags, they come in two sizes - coffee size and veg size (very market appropriate).

19.01.2022 It's an annual tradition, a yearly must, it's our Christmas Pudding Coffee. Every year it's a new seasonal roast and this time around it's rich, sticky and a bit boozy with a hint of fruitiness - just like a Christmas Pudding. Get your fix now by visiting us in-store.

16.01.2022 Ah, the Italian Espresso. Take a sip, close your eyes, and pretend you're enjoying the Tuscan sun or a nice summer breeze in Florence. Wouldn't it be nice? The answer is YES but in the meantime, we'll take a cup of our Italian Espresso - our strongest bean and one that puts hair on your chest and a spring in your step. Go on, give it a shot.

14.01.2022 @5.4rdesign snaps our Australian Black Mountain bean - a bold and earthy bean that makes a brilliant espresso.

13.01.2022 Every year, for 6 years, our Christmas Tea has been an absolute hit. Think ginger, orange peel, star anise and cloves on a black tea base - a tasty nightcap for food-stuffed families and the perfect to end to a hectic 48 hours. Shop it now for only $11 (and remember, free shipping in orders over $75!) - https://bit.ly/38A6lNH

11.01.2022 When we think of our New Guinea Gold bean, we immediately think "sweet". It's a clean and well-balanced cup with notes of blackcurrant and a bright acidity, just the way some like it. It's a medium roast, but it's not shy. Try it for yourself today.

11.01.2022 Now we don't want to brag, but we think our chamomile tea is world class... it's organically grown from chamomile flowers from Egypt (oops, that's absolutely bragging!). Many of us know chamomile is an age-old remedy for oh so many ailments. Great for settling tummies, soothing babies, and relaxing sore muscles. Try it soon if you haven't already. You can shop it at our Queen Vic Market stall, McIver's North (where you can now browse mugs, teapots and everything in between) or online!

11.01.2022 Now that's a stock up - some tough decision making awaits. Thanks for the snap @emmagreenwoodmakes. If we're in your radius - perfect. If we're not, you can find us online, with Click and Collect available and free shipping on orders over $75!

08.01.2022 Whether you're someone who likes it strong with no visibility, or on the weaker side in a beautiful shade of auburn, we can assure you there's a coffee bean at McIver's for you. We just ask one thing - take time to enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning (or afternoon if you're particularly edgy). Best consumed in an extra nice mug.

07.01.2022 Fee (Fi?) and Luigi talking up the market and the new ordering platform. Oh how we love the market https://www.broadsheet.com.au//queen-victoria-market-launc

07.01.2022 Meet our Indigenous Tea Bundle. We are in love with Australian Indigenous teas - Gulbarn, Kulbanyi, Jilungin. Lemon Myrtle and of course, our baby, Waltzing Myrtle. What better time than December to put them all together in a bundle? Try them all! Or give them as a gift and hopefully stick around to taste them with the recipient. ... When you purchase Indigenous teas you are supporting communities all over the country to live and work on their land in their way; to share their stories and knowledge with a wider world. We want to support these businesses and help make them viable and rewarding. Our part is simple we just have to spread the word, share our love for the teas and get it into as many hands as possible. We know at first glance these teas seem expensive so to get you over that hurdle, we have put together a bundle with one full sized retail pack of each of these teas at a 25% discount. That’s one pack each of Gulbarn, Jilungin, Kulbanyi, Lemon Myrtle and Waltzing Myrtle for $43.50 instead of the usual total of $58.00. You can find it online, or in-store at Queen Vic Market or McIver’s North.

06.01.2022 We are stepping outside our comfort zone and joining with a group of small businesses for a Mothers Day giveaway - a high tea gift pack. After all I might be wrong but I think there are a bunch of tea drinking mothers out there ready for a scone and flowers.

05.01.2022 It's got a creamy, chocolatey finish and we love it - it's Jane's Blend and simply put, it's very, very popular. You can buy it online or visit us at the Queen Vic Market to stock right up. After all, one needs plenty of caffeine to breeze through January!

04.01.2022 Such amazing photos. Try to identify the old places with the new.

02.01.2022 Grinchie has been chauffeured home after his very stressful stint at the market making sure all the Christmas protocols were properly observed. The market is back to normal hours with the added bonus (for shoppers) of being on the quieter side this year. Queen Victoria Market is a local market again full of summer fruit, amazing seafood and meat and of course - us! It’s just beautiful.

01.01.2022 Ahhh, the Avanti family, where you'll find the pot for one (or espresso lovers) and the pots big enough for when visitors pop in, or perhaps just your morning dose after a sleepless night... shop them online or in-store, and don't hesitate to ask us any questions about them! https://bit.ly/3ezTRGV
