24.01.2022 Sometimes a lot of work goes on behind the scenes to sell a house that clients don’t always notice, not these vendors though. Recently we were gifted this bottle of @bushmillsirl Irish Whiskey from some vendors of ours, all the way from the distillery in Northern Island. We thought that was a very special gesture - wasn’t at all expected but was definitely appreciated. 12.01.2022 ** ATTENTION RURAL LAND HOLDERS ** To cut a long story short, Clarence Valley Council adopted new rules in 2011 that changed the minimum amount of land required to be allowed to build a house on rural land. Essentially the new rules say that in most cases you need at least 100 acres to be allowed to build a dwelling (or to have 'dwelling eligibility' as they call it). There was a provision in those new rules that allowed owners of blocks that didn't meet those size requiremen...ts 10 years to contact council and jump through a few hoops to keep their dwelling eligibility - that 10 years expires in December 2021. If you are the owner of a rural zoned vacant block that is smaller than 100 acres please contact our office and we are happy to investigate if you have a dwelling eligibility and how to keep it if you do.
