20.01.2022 THEN AND NOW - The McLaren Vale Railway Station in 1919. It was the second last stop on the old Willunga line that ran through the southern suburbs from Adelaide Central Station to Willunga and was over 45km long. The McLaren Vale station (located on Railway Tce) stopped being used in 1957, the line was closed beyond Hallett Cove in 1969 and ultimately dismantled in 1972 - however much of the actual route lives on today as bike and walking trails!

The views in the region are spectacular and the drive along the coast is exquisite. Who wouldn’t like to live here with so much to offer our locals and tourists especially this time of the year!"

10.01.2022 As part of Ellis Butchers rare breed range, they have Red Wagyu from Mount Compass, Fleurieu Peninsula. Ribeye on the bone. The beef has been raised on grass for 24 months and finished on grain. It does not have the typical high marble score consumers associate with wagyu, but rather an intense beef flavour and the texture is very tender.... They have aged the beef for 8 weeks. If you are a steak aficionado, you'll love this!
