18.01.2022 Youth Riders - this is for you! 2016 Youth Development Scholarship Weekend - Dressage November 12 & 13, McLaren Park We're excited to announce that Dirk Dijkstra, FEI rider & popular coach from Victoria, has been engaged as the 2016 Youth Scholarship Weekend in November!... What's the weekend all about? It's a wonderful opportunity for Youth riders to take part in a full weekend of FREE coaching, alongside 9 other finalists. How does it work? Who can enter: Current junior, dual junior PCA, or senior ESA members between the ages of 12 and 21 years. Scholarship prize: $500 will be awarded to one winner in Dressage | Carriage Driving | Eventing | Show Horse | Jumping | Vaulting, to be used to reimburse coaching fees with an EA accredited coach. Cost to participants: It does not cost anything to enter. Up to 10 finalists in each discipline will be selected to receive intensive coaching. Lunch will be provided on both days at no cost to the finalists. Families requiring lunch will need to pay a small fee. What is expected of finalists: You may enter for only one discipline. Finalists will need to arrive at the venue and be ready to start at 9.00am each day and remain on site until the conclusion of each day. You must attend all coaching sessions whether riding or not. You will be assessed over the duration of the weekend by the Coach and Selector on performance, horsemanship, knowledge of discipline, attitude, ability and potential. All finalists are required to attend the Equestrian SA Annual Awards Night to be held early in 2015. It is a condition of attending the scholarship weekend that participants attend this evening at their own cost. Persons under 16 years must be supervised by parent or guardian outside of scholarship training hours. Watch this space for application forms, but mark the weekend in the calendar. This is a wonderful opportunity for Youth riders - we hope to be inundated with entries!

16.01.2022 Just an update from MPE .... we are excited that we can slowly ease the covid restrictions and therefore we are happy to announce we can allow two horses/two riders sharing the arena at one time .... bring a friend for now and make it two but we will do things slowly as to keep us all safe ... please still follow hygiene policy by washing hands and sanitising... stay well and see you soon

15.01.2022 At this difficult time for all we have come to the decision to temporarily close Mclaren Park Equestrian centre for Clinics and casual bookings as well as any visitors to the centre without permission. All clinics have been cancelled till the end of June and we will reevaluate clinics booked after that date so feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Jess (with the support of her partner Aaron) oversees the livery of the horses agisted here and with her friendly, enthusiastic and postive outlook is certainly an asset to how McLaren Park is run. Sue and Gavin are able to go about their busy daily work routine of keeping McLaren Park well presented and a happy place for people to visit and enjoy their horses, whilst knowing the horses are well cared for.
