19.01.2022 In McLaren Vale, we don’t take ourselves too seriously! An entertaining regional tradition is to toast to the good health of the newly crowned Bushing Monarchs and their prized Best Wine in Show title by singing the Bushing Wassail. This year, our 2020 Monarchs Tom and Renae from Chalk Hill Wines were serenaded virtually by an iconic bunch of our region’s lovable personalities.

18.01.2022 McLaren Vale's wine tourism businesses will temporarily cease trading during the state-wide lock down. Some wine businesses are able to process online purchases and can freight wines - check in with your favourite brands online to find out more! When it's safe to do so, we can't wait to welcome visitors back to McLaren Vale, but for the mean time - stay safe South Australia!... Photo credit: Serio

The vineyards might look like a pretty backdrop for a selfie but please help keep our vineyards safe from Phil and stick to designated pathways and keep out of vineyards. Vinehealth Australia

09.01.2022 The Star of Greece was a 3 masted ship built in Belfast in 1868. On July 13th 1888, the ship laden with wheat was caught in a storm and met a tragic fate just a few hundred metres from the Port Willunga shore. Some 130 years later, the wreckage is visible on a clear day, submerged in just 4 metres of water. It has quickly become a hot spot for the curious divers wanting to explore the maritime wreckage and subsequent reef outcrop that came to be its final resting place.
