24.01.2022 Failed 2 pole 200kw motor off a ammonia chiller, it appears the insulation became brittle with age and finally went out with a bang

21.01.2022 As of a few days ago cable supports going in during a mad rush for a new plant install

16.01.2022 One challenging job! Major chiller upgrade install for a major shopping retailer. Had some pretty major hurdles to overcome due to design issues but we smash it!

16.01.2022 New vsd's installed on cooling towers, just some labelling and plc programming to go

11.01.2022 Although this was the other week, this is from the putty region fire. It spreads quickly and cant be controlled, were only here to ensure communications are available but rfs volunteers have put themselves at risk for the public saving comunication facilities, but we all work together in these situations. Rfs have worked so hard on this fire with no break, we all went from nabiac to here, torrential rain would be ideal

10.01.2022 After a 200kw motor shorted out, destroying the DOL contactor and motor start breaker we were supplied a new 220kw teco motor, of which kept tripping the new breaker we had to setup the gridsense power meter to detirmine the breaker is tripping in 17 milliseconds with a inrush current on L1 of 6100 amps, rated locked rotor current is 2600 amps, proving the motor was wound wrong by the manufacturer #made in china needs to stay in china.

05.01.2022 Today we got a "the other guy was cheaper" to investigate a vsd failure, we found the drive was never connected to the control (plc) system, so the staff have to push the old start button to close the origonal DOL starter, then push start on the vsd, no protection configured and the touchpanel had been relocated as shown.. glued in place with the bunnings network adapter also glued on

03.01.2022 3 years after we do a major service, and tune on a 471 2 stroke detroit diesel and we return for a seperate issue and it still runs spot on, and without any jacket heating, cold start.

03.01.2022 We got to tag onto a ausgrid outage on the 33kv network on kooragang island. Found the air break switch ceased, making it dangerous to operate and the 5k per fuses jammed up. Cleaned up all we could but will be on the next outage. We had to leave the 4wd boom lift bogged to recover the following day
