18.01.2022 The ATO is phasing in the Single Touch Payroll system over the next few years. STP will be replacing the current PAYG Summary system and will be available via your myGov account once processed by your employer. It will also be available to us through the ATO Tax Agent Portal. If your employer isn’t on the STP system, it’s business as usual and once you have your PAYG Summary you can book a time with us. https://www.ato.gov.au//The-way-you-get-your-payment-summ/

08.01.2022 A bit of a click-bait title but: the maximum offset available ($1,080) is for those in the $48,000 to $90,000 tax bracket. If your income is higher or lower than this, you will receive a reduced benefit. The offset is a non-refundable tax offset meaning that you will not receive this as a refund if your income is below the tax-free threshold. For further clarifications, please do not hesitate to ask us when you come and see us.
