17.01.2022 Recently our State Treasurer has commented on radio and in articles about prominent property investors driving Bentleys and complaining about the new land tax rules. Well Mr Treasurer, my wife drives and 8 seater Hyundai IMax. We both are professionals operating small legal and accounting practices, we have 4 young children all intending to attend private school.... Over the years we have borrowed and leveraged off our income to hold 8 investment properties in SA. Currently we pay NO land tax! With the proposed legislation we are due a $15,000 to $22,000 land tax bill. Mr Treasurer, where do I find the funds to pay for this annual bill and raise my family?
