03.01.2022 Hello all of you interested in taking action on climate. Some of you might have heard of the Climate Guardians, a troupe of Australian Angels who protest the Aust. Government's inaction on climate change. We're going to the COP21 talks in Paris in December. These talks are perhaps the most important meeting of world leaders for young people's future, for here they will try and set targets to phase out the fossil fuels that threaten catastrophic climate change - which you guys... will have to cope with. At these COP21 talks, the Australian delegates will be trying to undermine any progress. Not Fair, particularly for you. So we Angels are hand delivering letters from Australian children and teenagers to some of the head delegates, asking them to listen to the kids who will have to bear the worst impacts of climate change, and not our government which wants only to secure ongoing profits for their big funders, the fossil fuel corporations. Are any of you interested to write a letter to UN climate delegates which we Angels will deliver in a ceremony, with the world's media looking on? Even better, are any of you interest to organize a letter-writing campaign with friends, or a bigger one at the school, or with any of the sporting, dance, music groups you belong to?
