24.01.2022 Baby Pelham The pelham is a bit with leverage. The longer the shanks, the sharper the effect. This pelham has short shanks and therefore a milder leverage than the normal pelham, but the aid is faster. The baby pelham can be used with one or two reins. If you choose to ride with one rein, a pelham strap is needed to connect the bit rings to the rings of the shanks so that the effect is slightly softer than with two reins.

24.01.2022 INNO SENSE The Inno Sense bits come in three different models: soft, medium & hard. The mouthpieces are available in the versions; flexi, mullen and port. Bits from the Inno Sense line can be used for every horse and particularly suitable for young horses and/or horses with a sensitive mouth. The synthetic material is FDA approved, which means the material does not contain plasticizers and is non-toxic to people and animals. In addition, the flexi- and mullen model of the Inno Sense Bits line are solid because of the application of a core of stainless steel. Horses that are ridden with an Inno Sense Bit follow the hand easily and accept the bit smoothly.

21.01.2022 A baby weymouth fixed is used together with a bradoon, the so-called double bridle. This combination is used in the higher dressage classes. The weymouth is a cheekpiece with leverage. The longer the shanks the sharper the effect. The baby weymouth fixed has short shanks and therefore is a milder bit than the normal weymouth fixed. For a double bridle combination a special bridle or an extra cheekpiece is required. In addition, this bit must always be combined with a curb chain to prevents the bit from rotating too far in the horse’s mouth. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.

19.01.2022 Cherry Roller mouthpiece The cherry roller mouthpiece consists of loose rolls. These rolls prevent the horse from taking hold of the bit. This makes it an ideal bit for horses which hold the bit with their teeth and pulling forward. #TrustEquestrian #TrustBits

18.01.2022 BABY PELHAM FLEXI SOFT The pelham combines the effect of a snaffle and a double bridle. A pelham strap is needed to connect the bit rings to the rings of the shanks. The longer the shanks, the sharper the effect. The baby pelham has short shanks and therefore is less sharp than the normal pelham. A pelham bit is mainly used with strong horses. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made of elastic synthetic material and are very flexible. The bit features a flexible metal core. Because of the flexibility this is a friendly bit and horses accept this very well. The Inno Sense flexi soft is less suitable for very strong horses but can be in combination with the right cheekpiece.

17.01.2022 3 materials TRUST equestrian produces bits in 3 different materials. Sweet Iron, Inno Sense and Leather.... All of them have different specific effects. Sweet Iron can use for every horse to stimmulate the salvia production. Inno Sense is great for sensitive horses which has trouble to accept the bit and the leather bits are soft and have a specific taste which helps horses to accept the bit better.

17.01.2022 TRUST - TP Hackamore. Suitable to use with or without a bit! $319.95

15.01.2022 Did you know that the Sweet Iron bit receives its shiny, deep blue colour by heating the bit? Sweet Iron is like a candy for your horse. Because of the sweet taste it stimulates the horse to salivate more, which in turn will encourage a better acceptance of the bit.

15.01.2022 - KIMBLEHOOK - The kimblehook cheekpiece is a kind of pelham but has a milder effect and is ridden with one rein. The rider can decide the sharpness of the bit. The lower the rein, the stronger the leverage, the sharper the bit. This cheekpiece gives the rider more control over the horse than a standard cheekpiece.

13.01.2022 Cherry Roller The cherry roller mouthpiece has loose rolls. These rolls discourage the horse from grabbing the bit. In addition, it can increase the tongue activity which produces more saliva and relaxes the jaws more. This bit is suitable for horses that are hard in the mouth, grab the bit or have difficulty concentrating.

12.01.2022 Flexibilities The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made of elastic synthetic material and are very flexible. The bit features a flexible metalcore. The Inno Sen...se Medium Port is made of elastic synthetic material, which is slightly harder than flexi soft. The Inno Sense Medium Port is slightly flexible. This mouthpiece has a port that creates space for the tongue and decreases the pressure on the centre of the horse’s tongue. The Inno Sense Mullen is a straight bar that slightly bends forward. This mouthpiece is fabricated of elastic synthetic material. The bit has a rigid core that makes the mullen bar not flexible but the material around it gives the bit a soft touch.

11.01.2022 Loose Ring Eliptical The loose ring cheekpiece has loose rings which allows the bit to move more freely in the mouth so that many horses accept this bit well. Because of the loose rings, the aid is conveyed indirectly. To prevent lips from getting pinched, it is advisable to provide the bit with bit rings. An eliptical mouthpiece has two hinges, is shaped more towards the mouth and lies somewhat looser in the mouth. This bit exerts pressure on the tongue, the layers and the corners of the mouth. Be careful with narrow lower jaws, the hinge points can press on the layers which can cause wounds. Compared to a single jointed bit, this bit exerts more pressure on the tongue.

08.01.2022 EGGBUT The eggbut is a standard jawpiece. The rings cannot move loosely, so the aid comes through more directly and the bit lies relatively still in the mouth. In addition, the bit prevents the lips from getting pinched, so that bit rings are not necessary for this jawpiece.

08.01.2022 Non Slip sticky pads This product is ideal to limit the saddle slipping back on your horse. Lay flat directly on your horses back and place other gear components on top as normal. $60 each

07.01.2022 Inno Sense Weymouth Port Medium Fixed A weymouth fixed is used together with a bradoon. The weymouth is a cheekpiece with leverage. The longer the shanks the sharper the effect. The weymouth fixed has long shanks and therefore is a stronger bit than the baby weymouth fixed. This cheekpiece must always be combined with a curb chain to prevent the bit from rotating too far in the horse’s mouth. The Inno Sense Port Medium is made of elastic synthetic material, which is slightly ...harder than flexi soft. This mouthpiece has a port that creates space for the tongue and decreases the pressure on the centre of the horse’s tongue. See more

07.01.2022 FULL CHEEK A full cheek has straight cheek pieces, with a solid ring to attach to the rein. Because of this shape more pressure is gained on the cheeks of the horse. This makes a horse easier to turn and the bit cannot be pulled through the mouth so easily. In addition, this bit lies calm and stable in the mouth. The full cheek is an ideal bit for young or hot horses who may not understand steering.

07.01.2022 LEATHER The leather bits are a remarkable sight in the TRUST equestrian collection. The core of the leather bit is made of reinforced nylon. The leather that is stitched around this core, is naturally tanned without chemicals.... The saliva production softens the leather bit and makes it more pleasant for the horse. The flexibility in combination with the taste of the leather, makes the bit particularly suitable for horses with a sensitive mouth. The stitches has to show forward when inside the mouth. #TrustEquestrian #TrustBits

07.01.2022 - Leather - The leather bits are a remarkable sight in the TRUST Equestrian collection. The core of the leather bit is made of reinforced nylon. 05.01.2022 2.5 RING A 2.5 ring bit is a milder version of a 3 ring (pessoa) bit. With this bit a leverage can be created. The lower the reins are placed, the stronger the bit becomes. An ideal bit for horses that are very strong or hold the bit. ... Compared to the 2.5 eggbut, the loose rings can move loosely so there is more movement in the bit and the rein aid has a more indirect effect. See more

05.01.2022 TRUST EQUESTRIAN CURB GAG This is a gag, but has a different effect. With a normal gag the cords are attached to the cheekpiece. The curb gag has an extra ring... on the bitring. On this ring the bit is attached to the bridle. The cord goes through the hooks of the bit in a normal way, except that the cord runs behind the chin. This gives this bit extra pressure on the lower jaw/chin. This bit can have a sharp effect with a lot of pressure or an unstable hand and is therefore not suitable for inexperienced riders or horses. This bit is often used by jumping riders. See more

03.01.2022 TRUST Full Cheek The straight pieces on the cheekpiece are slightly bent outwards so that they cannot come into contact with the side of the horse's head. 02.01.2022 KIMBLEHOOK A Kimblehook is a combination of a Hanging Cheek and a Pelham. This bit is a bit less sharp than a Pelham and the reins can be attached in different ways. However, only one rein is needed.
