01.01.2022 As an Allied Health Care worker servicing the general public I am deeply disturbed by the behaviour of so many Australians flouting self-isolation and social distancing advice. What is more people are continuing to show up to appointments unwell and show a complete disregard for the seriousness of the situation. Many of my colleagues are now so afraid they are working from home only seeing people over videocall. I am asking that all people take this situation seriously, that if they are unwell, even if they think its an ordinary cold or flu that they stay home and not infect others. If you are unwell and need a mental health service let us know and we will arrange Telehealth for you. Our healthcare system and its workers are struggling with this and doing the best we can.... please help us help you!!!
