21.01.2022 TRAIL RIDE On SUNDAY 22nd of March, We will be leading another "easy to intermediate" trail ride from Three Bridges area to a Pub for lunch and then heading back again. The ride will be about 100km long in total with nothing too challenging but will be a few hours each way so plan to block out the whole day.... Licences/Learners Permits and registered bikes will be required. Hydration pack, toolkit w/tube and some money for lunch are highly recommended. If you have a walkie talkie chuck it in your bag too. Message your details to @Simon Pilepich (0433 653 753) if you are interested or have any questions. The ride details will be sent to members only in the week leading up to the event.

21.01.2022 IMPORTANT VORC UPDATE Round 1&2 of the Vic Offroads has been postponed due to the recent COVID19 outbreak! Thank you to all members that put their hand up to help us run this event. At this point in time round 2 of the MCRCV rounds is scheduled to go ahead as planned at Heathcote! ... Please see below for details from a recent VORC Facebook post: Unfortunately after consultation with Motorcycling Victoria and MCRCV, the hard decision to postpone Rounds 1&2 of the VORC at Three Bridges has been made. This decision has not been made lightly and is certainly not a knee jerk reaction to the current situation. As medical services across the state are coming under more and more pressure, we could not be guaranteed that a high standard of medical response would be available to our members if required. This is only a postponment, and arrangements are already in the works to hold these rounds at a date and location to be announced. With Rounds 3&4 at Whitfield on the 23rd/24th of May, we are lucky to have time on our side to ensure that we are able to bring a full season of the VORC to our members. We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support.

12.01.2022 After a lot of consideration, the Committee has come to the conclusion it will not be possible to run a club championship in 2020. A lot of work was going on behind the scene to try and get some sort of events up and running but it was proving extremely difficult with the COVID restrictions placed on clubs.... Of course this was prior to the further tightening of COVID restrictions last week. These new restrictions and the time until we could reasonably expect an easing of such restrictions, as to be able to run an event, leave the Committee with the unfortunate decision to cancel racing for 2020. As such, the Committee wish to advise that all 2020 memberships that have been paid up to today, will be rolled over and credited to the 2021 season. The Committee are monitoring the situation closely and if and when the opportunity arises, we will stage a fun event where everyone can get together and catch up. At this stage, a decision on running The Stockmans Rally has been delayed. We are committed to staging this event and will delay this decision for as long as we can to give ourselves every opportunity to run it...fingers crossed! As stated in March, monthly club meetings have been suspended until further notice. Committee meetings are being conducted frequently. If you have any concerns, you can raise them with a Committee member and they will be dealt with accordingly. From the Committee to all our members, we hope you are staying safe and well during these difficult times. During these challenging times, remember to pick up the phone and check on your mates.

04.01.2022 Due to the ongoing health restrictions, the MCRCV club general meeting scheduled for Tuesday 7th April has been cancelled.

04.01.2022 It is with the greatest sadness that we inform you of the passing of one our members, Daniel Templer. Daniel died as a result of a trail riding accident yesterday, Sunday 31/05/2020 All our thoughts and sympathies are with Tara, Harvey and Brodie.... Tara wishes to thank everyone for their messages of support. We ask that at this time everyone respects the privacy of Tara and the boys Vale. Daniel MCRCV Committee.

02.01.2022 With the easing restrictions we have a small club trail ride on this weekend about an hour north of Melbourne. The loop is only about 50km but the tracks we be challenging for intermediate riders. we will make sure everyone gets through and should finish up a bit after lunch.
