24.01.2022 During the lunch break on Sunday as part of our Round 4 at Wanneroo Raceway, there will a Lap of Honour being undertaken for the 190 Australian construction workers who committed suicide in 2020. 09.01.2022 The Motor Cycle Racing Club of WA are proud to announce that we are partnering with MATES in Construction W.A for our fourth and final round of the 2020 WA State Road Racing Championships, to be held at Wanneroo Raceway on Sunday 29th November. MATES in Construction W.A is a fantastic charity established in 2008, that aims to reduce the high level of suicide among Australian construction workers. Alongside our full program of exciting racing, including Superbike, Supersport, ...Sidecar, Production, Clubman and Golden Era classes, MATES will be running a FREE fun family friendly event at the circuit. Highlights include: 1. Formal welcome by Lord Mayor Ms. Tracy Roberts. 2. Lap of Honour for Your MATES 2020 Recognising the MATES lost to Suicide in 2020. The lap will be led by MATES WA Youth Ambassador Sam Clarke, who is also the current leader of the Triton Electrical Superbike State Championship. We need: Trackside marshals - 7.45/8am sign on - approx 4.30pm. Free entry, training, lunch, snacks and refreshments provided. No experience needed!
