17.01.2022 Spring Hasn’t Quite Sprung For Real Estate Listings The property market has seen 22,939 new listings in the last month, however that's still 13% lower than the ...same time last year and 15% lower than the thirteen year average. It's evident that home owners are reluctant to list their properties. A couple of possible reasons for this include: - low levels of consumer sentiment - high transactions costs (i.e. stamp duty) especially if the seller needs to buy another property If the lack of new property listings continues we can expect property prices across the country to remain firm and trend upwards. #CoreLogic
