Please remember that pupils must enter through the front and exit at the back of the hall, with the use of sanitiser at both doors. ... We also ask that pupils bring their own drink bottle especially with warmer weather coming up quickly. COVID restrictions are still in place, including social distancing. 10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Hope you are staying safe. Last week text messages were sent about our physical classes recommencing in Term 3. First class Saturday July 18th. ... If you havent received a text or havent yet replied and would like your child to recommence in Term 3 please message me on 0428288086 by June 30th. Due to COVID restrictions we are adapting class timetables to suit class capacities. We are super excited to finally be able to access the studio and dance in person with you all. Mina

07.01.2022 TODAY IS THE DAY! We are so excited to be opening our doors again and can't wait to see you all!! We are officially a Covid safe studio and due to the current... climate, we have had to make a few small changes to our policies and procedures within the studio to comply with this . We understand that change is never great but we have done our very best to accomodate everyone and eliminate any drastic changes in order to keep us all safe and dancing. - Due to studio capacities each class has been given specific instructions about class drop off and pick up, so please ensure you follow these and adhere to signage outside the studio. - Jazz, hip hop and ballet classes will need to bring a labelled yoga mat/towel to class. - Please ensure your child brings a labelled water bottle - Pigeon holes are limited so please only bring items necessary for class - Please ensure all children come dressed for dancing. - Please sanitise before entering and exiting the building. We have sanitising stations throughout the studio. - Ensure you/your child does not come to class if you have any flu like symptoms, such as coughing, runny nose or fever. We appreciate all of your understanding and can't wait to be back dancing with you all. It's your ongoing support that has enabled us to get through this time and we are forever grateful If you'd like to join our MDA family get in touch.

05.01.2022 It is with great sadness that MDA Coolamon will be official shut down until further notice, due to the new Government regulations in relation to Coronavirus - Covid-19. For the past few weeks we have been following the updates from the Australian and NSW Government and Department of Health, ensuring we are up to date with all the latest information. We took these precautions in order to adhere to government regulations and enable all of our students to dance safely and hap...pily for as long as possible. At MDA the health and safety of our students and their extended family and friends is our number one priority. We are aware that unprecedented circumstances have forced us to postpone physical classes until the current situation permits. However, we do feel in such a time where the world is coming to a halt, that we do still need to keep some positivity alive. Therefore, we are excited to inform you all that we will be using an app called Zoom to continue online and interactive dance classes and private lessons until we have the privilege to meet in person again. This app is absolutely incredible and will enable all students to socially interact with teachers as well as each other, dancing from the comfort of your own home. For those who aren't technically savvy, this app is free to download onto your phone, laptop or ipad and very simple to use. We will need some time to get our online platform up and running. Therefore, online classes will commence as of Monday next week, finishing the term in a slightly more interesting way. Students will be allocated their regular time slot, so classes can essentially continue as normal for the final few weeks of term. A personal message and email will be sent to all students in the upcoming week with more specific details- so please continue to check your emails. If any students know anyone in Coolamon who would like to take advantage of our online classes please feel free to pass on our details. It is at times like this that we have to come together and support one another, as together we always achieve more. 04.01.2022 CLASSES ARE AS NORMAL Good Afternoon, Please read the below and inform us of any concerns.... As you are aware we are currently experiencing a virus pandemic that many of us have not seen in our lifetime and not everyone is sure how to proceed with day to day life. At Minas Dance Academy we have been following the information provided to us by the Australian Government, State Government and the Department of health and have implemented certain rules and regulations in conjunction with this information. - Staff are disinfecting surfaces prior to and after classes. - Washing Hands with soap and warm or hot (not to hot) water at the start and end of lessons. - Keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres between each student. - If needing to sneeze or cough, do so into your elbow. - Avoid the students touching their faces. - Students to bring own drink bottle and DO NOT SHARE. We ask parents to ensure that children have their own drink bottle at class. Further more we ask that if your child has any of the following symptoms you do not attend class. - Runny Nose - Sore Throat - Fever - Coughing - Sneezing constantly - Shortness of Breath If you have an concerns please dont hesitate to message us, Please stay safe and be vigilante.
