For a suitable company or individual, this will be ongoing work. Each project will vary in the amount of time to complete the project. The scope of work will consist of the following: ... Reviewing and assessing client briefs, drawings, and specifications. Creating power and lighting designs for projects with items chosen from the builders’ inclusions. Creating plans detailing lighting points and switching Design and creating plans for data and audiovisual, intercom, smart home, switchboard, solar PV, and security for both residential and commercial projects. Using knowledge of AS3000, Basix, and relevant building codes to ensure compliance. Undertaking detailed take-offs. Suggested product selection for example style of lights and colour e.g., downlight, warm white for each room of the project. Depending on the builder we may be locked into certain brands and this information will be supplied to you. Experience Required CAD, Groundplan, Clipsec of similar take-off software Creating residential, commercial, and industrial electrical and lighting design and drawings.
