15.01.2022 Gary came to our EGA clinic to get back into golf. He suffered a terrible fall, damaging the right side of his brain which affects his control over the left side of his body. This caused balance and rotation issues but as we know there is not only one way to play golf! With a 7 iron, we increased his stance width to make sure he was balanced throughout the swing and moved the ball position backwards to improve his strike. We also worked on aiming slightly right of the intended target due to rotatory issues through impact. Main message here is it’s not how you get it done, it’s the score that matters. @empowergolf @portkemblagolfclub

02.01.2022 Had a solid +1 in windy conditions yesterday. The main focus areas over the day was trusting my target and not trying to shape shots. This decreased unnecessary spin on the ball, thus reducing the effects of the wind.
