At this afternoon's assembly we were fortunate enough to have Josh Paul announce the competition results. 10.01.2022 Kindergarten students were super excited about their visit to the Mater Dei Catholic College Ag Plot today. They met 'Farmer Brookes' who fed the lamb his breakfast (a fresh bucket of milk), showed the students a variety of chicks and chickens and introduced the newest addition to the plot, Nancy the cow! They also toured the greenhouse and the veggie garden. We were very proud of the questions our students asked and very appreciative of Mr Brookes and our wonderful Kindergarten staff for organising this visit. Well done Kinder Team!

07.01.2022 We love to see our students enjoying their learning...and this was certainly the case in Year 3 on Thursday! Year 3 have been learning about ‘sources of electrical energy’ this term. They have been talking about ways we can help sustain the environment and use renewable energy sources that look after the Earth. Students were required to plan and make a house project that uses sustainable forms of energy, such as solar energy or wind energy. They also included items such as a compost bin, water tank and energy saving devices inside. What an amazing design and construction site we had. So many spectacular and energy-wise designs!
