16.01.2022 SKILLED MIGRATION UPDATE! The Department of Home Affairs has published a Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL). It includes 17 occupations from critical sectors roles in Australia's reponse to COVID-19, with priority processing to be given to nominations and visa applications with an occupation listed on the PMSOL. All other skilled occupation lists will remain active depending on State nominations, however, the PMSOL occupations will be given priority. The ...list is temporary and is subject to change without prior notice. Skilled Migration - South Australia has received a small number of skilled nomination places from the Department of Home Affairs to support the state's economic recovery and public health response. The state will be issuing interim invitations until the Federal Budget is delivered, on 6 October 2020. The Government of South Australia will publish state nomination requirements on August 27th 2020 and will commence reviewing Expressions of Interest applicatio...ns and sending invitations / nominations for a Subclass 491 or Subclass 190 from August 31st 2020. Business Migration - The state’s allocation of interim 188 and 132 visa nominations are intended to support the outcomes of its Business Innovation & Investment Program: High quality business owners and entrepreneurs have created genuine and sustainable business opportunities in South Australia that benefits the State’s economy, local businesses, and the workforce. The Government of South Australia will publish state nomination requirements on 27 August 2020. From 7 September, South Australia will commence reviewing Intention to Apply submissions and sending invitations to submit an online application --- ¡Actualización importante! 02.01.2022 The Department of Home Affairs has recently made the following announcements regarding the Migration Program for 2020-21: . Due to COVID-19, Migration from overseas is expected to have a net loss of 71,200 in 2020-21, gradually increasing to approximately 201,000 in 2023-24 The current 2020-21 Migration Program planning level is set to 160,000 Family Stream places will increase from 47,732 to 77,300...
