06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all those who have currently donated school supplies. These supplies are greatly appreciated by local families who need that extra bit of help when starting the new school year. If anyone else would like to donate, Moranbah Youth and Community Centre (located at 2 Appleton St) will still be accepting donations of school supplies to help local kids in our community prepare for 2021.... 06.01.2022 MDSS will be closing over the holiday season but will be back on Monday 11th January at 9am. We close on Friday 18th December at 5pm but have listed emergency numbers below. 04.01.2022 Moranbah District Support Services has rescheduled the AGM to Tuesday 8 December 2020 at 6pm. We urgently require nominations for executive committee members. Without volunteers to fill the executive roles for the 2021 year the organisation will not be able to operate and provide its services to the Isaac community. Our services include the management of the Moranbah Youth and Community Centre, Domestic Violence Counselling services, Rural Family support programs (this includes counselling services). If you have a Law, Business, Management or Community Services background we would like to hear from you. Or if you have been on a board or management committee previously. Please contact us.

03.01.2022 We are proud to support the TechCollect E-waste National Recycling Week again this year! Starting from the 9th to the 15th of November. Our bins will recycle your TVs and computers for FREE!. The bins are located on our drive way at the Moranbah Youth and Community Centre, 2 Appleton Street. Please contact MDSS if you require more information on how to safely deposit your recycling goods. NO LOOSE BATTERIES please. #NationalRecyclingWeek, #Recycling
