20.01.2022 You may remember about a thousand years ago I ran a competition to get some help coming up with a new business name...since then there has been a lot happening. We sold a house, we bought a house, we renovated a house and finally moved into a house. I have heard that selling and buying a house is one of the most stressful things you can experience...they weren't wrong. Throw in two little terrors, a husband immobilised with a bad back and some major renovations and everything... just got crazy! I received so many great suggestions for a new name, there were some funny ones too. A few people suggested that I use my name which to me, is soooooooo boring. But then a certain someone entered the competition via Facebook and said I love your name, may seem 'boring' but you have a beautiful, unique and individual name just like your style. SoBILLETA WOOD PHOTOGRAPHY it is! (YAWN) Congratulations JE Harris You have won a FREE photo shoot as well as $500 in prints! I was very excited to see that it was a primary school friend who entered and won, I look forward to getting in contact with you, please check your inbox soon, Ill be in touch to arrange your shoot! A HUGE thank you to Lara from Yak Yak Designs for my beautiful logo and putting up with my indecisiveness. You are one crazy talented lady! 16.01.2022 I am getting crazy excited for Hayley & Dyllons wedding tomorrow...I love this cute couple.
14.01.2022 Here it is...Holly & Richards wedding. It has taken me forever to put this blog post together, youll see why. This is possibly the longest blog post ever, so I would go and put the kettle on now! This wedding started at a gorgeous nautical themed Noosa ceremony and finished in vintage country picnic style. The bride entranced the reception on a horse for goodness sake...HOW DO YOU TOP THAT?! This wedding is amazing for many reasons, I could babble on forever but Ill give y...ou two...one, I love these two (and Deklin) like crazy crazy love them. And two this wedding was COMPLETELY DIY. Yes Holly is a freak and styled the whole thing herself! Holly and Richard spent countless weekends sourcing the most amazing decorations for the ceremony and reception and it was nothing short of spectacular! 04.01.2022 We have a little problemo here at Me & You Photography. Due to a teeny oversight, I am not allowed to re-register my business name as Me & You Photography. After many unsuccessful phone calls I have decided to take the high road and let it go. Although I have been Me & You Photography for 6 years and I am a little sad it is no longer mine, I am going the opportunity to rebrand, relaunch and start afresh. But when it comes to new business names...I've got NOTHING! So I thought, why not take it to my wonderful 'likers' on Facebook and Instagram to help me out...and of course there will be a grand prize! So...
