05.01.2022 me-bike riding tip Pump it up!! When you only have two wheels to rely on, the condition of your tyres is not just important, it's critical. Pay attention to your tyres and visually inspect frequently. Look for general condition wear and tear, firmness and tread. Paying particular attention to the rear tyre is important because it wears about three times faster than the front tyre. ... A visual is good, but not enough. Get to the local service station every month or so and ensure tyres are pumped up to 40 pound (this is also marked on your tyre). Sometimes it can be tricky to visually spot an under inflated tyre, as at rest sometimes the tyre will look fine. If the tyre pressure gets really low, the usual sure-footed behaviour of the me-bike becomes slower and a bit harder to handle as under inflated tyres have so much more rolling resistance. So to ensure you stay safe and get the most out of your me-bike, look after your wheels and Pump it up!!
