25.01.2022 Now COVID restrictions are easing Do you Feel like a Winter Retreat this weekend? Only 25 minutes from Mount Field if you want to do a walk! Meadowbank Retreat has spots $200 per night, 2 night minimum for up to 8-10 people. Two bedroom, one queen in one room. Two double bunks with singles on top in the other room. 3 Kayaks for a paddle down the river to explore (life jackets included for kids) or have a leisurely walk down the road taking in the serenity. A Camp fire area for those who want to feel like they are camping, or a heated out door area with a comfy couch for the not so brave!! Private Message us to Book now!

22.01.2022 We had a wonderful time at Meadowbank Retreat. The home is spacious with all mod cons and the view is just beautiful. We all enjoyed the jetty, the kayaks and... watching the wallabies in the morning. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it as a fabulous spot for a family holiday. See more

06.01.2022 Meadowbank Retreat is a 2 bedroom shack located in a tranquil spot on a hill at meadowbank river. It’s unique placement means you look down the river not across. There are plenty of opportunities to see Tasmanian wildlife in action from platypus in the river to wombats and echidna’s ambling through the field. There are plenty of activities to do, including swimming, kayaking walking or just resting and relaxing on the deck. It’s 45 minutes from New Norfolk and only 25 minutes from Mt Field National Park. It provides the perfect quiet getaway with family and friends. Unfortunately we are unable to have pets, due to being near farm land.
