21.01.2022 Looking for the perfect Christmas gift? Some would say it's an impact driver, others a new slalom ski, but the true hot gift this festive season is a ticket to MWSC Presents: Skifari 2020. They're so affordable, you can get one for yourself too ;)

20.01.2022 !!SAFETY POST!! One of the supporting ropes holding the ski jump in place has detached from the jump. This means the jump has moved position, and the rope will be floating in the water towards the middle of the lake. Action is being taken to resolve, but please take extra care when navigating through the centre of the lake in particular until this is fixed. A notification will be posted when it's sorted.

20.01.2022 The chair and secretary positions need to be filled at the AGM in October. The committee have worked hard to create processes and systems that make these roles very manageable, so if you're looking to contribute to your club make sure you get a nomination into [email protected]. Don't worry, there will be a full handover to help you get moving!

18.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! Quick post to let you know subs notices have been sent. Sometimes the emails land in spam or 'promotions' (in Gmail) so please give those folders a look if you haven't received it. Subs and stat-decs are due by the AGM - 29 October 2020. If you're missing the emails get in touch via the secretary so we can make sure we have the right address on the system.

17.01.2022 HELP NEEDED!! Hi all, As you are aware, summer is fast approaching and so is SKIFARI 2020.... To help make this event as amazing as we can, we ask that you secure your's and your family and friends tickets as soon as possible. Not only will SKIFARI have wonderful water ski events on display but there will be loads of things for the whole family. - The Treasure Hunt - Skifari - Kids games - Come and try ski sessions - The Great Float (Best in Show inflatable comp) - Music and dancing - And so much more. So please, support this event, have fun and who knows where SKIFARI can go in the future!!! Regards Committee

17.01.2022 Hello MWSC members, it's been a while! A quick post to let you all know the management committee resolved to *not raise the subs* for the upcoming season. Given COVID has reduced our ability to do major projects at the lake, or even visit it for a while, and considering the personal impacts we felt there was no need for an increase. In addition, we are extending the due date to 29 October (date of the AGM), giving you two months to arrange payment.... Minutes from the meeting will be released shortly and expect more emails and FB posts as we emerge from our isolation and look forward to summer.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone. If you haven't seen, the latest COVID-19 advice from the government is to stay at your home under the majority of circumstances. As much as we love the lake, and it might seem a good spot to isolate, we strongly recommend you follow the government's instructions and give it a miss for now. Isolating doesn't work if everyone isolates in the same place after all, and even being there and using facilities creates a risk of sharing, or at the very least makes those f...acilities unusable for other people. Stay safe, and all the best for you and your families as we work through this unprecedented event.
