24.01.2022 There will be no market in September due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions. The Meadows Memorial Hall Board will convene in Sept to discuss the October market.

21.01.2022 **EVENT CANCELLATION** With a heavy heart, the Meadows Memorial Hall Board would like to advise that due to the escalating situation with COVID-19 or Coronaviru...s we have no choice but to cancel the 2020 Meadows 4 Day Easter Fair. The news today about major events need to be cancelled from PM Scott Morrison has made the decision final. The Fair has faced adversity before and continued to operate but this situation is too much of a risk to public safety and the safety of our dedicated volunteers who have spent months planning for the Fair. The close quarters of the Easter Fair would be too much of a breeding ground for the virus if an infected person were in attendance and we would not want to cause a further spread to the most vunerable in our community. Stallholders who have been approved to attend will be refunded in full for their site fees and further details will be sent out in the coming days to arrange this. Please be patient as we have over 100+ stallholders to contact and other organisations to notify as well. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thankyou all for your support over the many years and we promise to return in 2021 with another wonderful Easter Fair! 10.01.2022 An Update from the Hall Board The Meadows Country Market will remain closed as it stands after our board meeting tonight. A healthy discussion about its return was held and we are investigating the best options for the Hall, the stallholders and the local community of Meadows. We are arranging meetings with Mt Barker Council to discuss plans about events moving forward.... We understand that there are people interested in its return, but please be aware that our decisions are made in consultation with regular stallholders and other stakeholders. 10.01.2022 ***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*** Due to the current global situation relating to the Coronavirus (COVID19) the Meadows Country Market is suspended indefinitely until it is deemed safe for us to operate. Whilst our market usually is below 500 attendees, our insurance broker has advised us that we are not covered for any liability to run events if a situation would occur due to COVID19... Protecting our community from the spread of the virus is also most important. We will advise when the next market will be once we are cleared to operate. 09.01.2022 The Annual General Meeting for the Meadows Memorial Hall Inc., will be held on Tuesday 11th August 2020 at 7pm. All welcome.

06.01.2022 There will be no Country Market in October due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions. The hall board is working hard to bring the Market back as soon as it is safe to do so, in-line with the current SA Covid-19 guidelines. The hall board meets again on the 13th Oct and a decision will be made regarding the November market.

01.01.2022 MARKET UPDATE At the Meadows Memorial Hall board meeting tonight the reopening of the monthly market was discussed. There is no set a date for reopening due to ongoing restrictions for operating inside the hall.
