25.01.2022 Senior Training to commence Sunday 13th September from 10am @ The Meadows Cricket Nets. We will continue to run Sunday Sessions until light permits us to switch to Tuesday and Thursday nights. We will be Fielding 2 Seniors Teams again and would welcome any new players to club.... Seasons start dates are yet to be confirmed.

24.01.2022 Just a reminder that we have Under 12’s and 14’s training starting this Thursday at 4pm until 5pm...weather permitting. We also have our whole club registration day on Sunday from 10am until around 11:30am.

18.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL C GRADE PLAYERS. The session I had proposed for sat has now been CANCELLED. Eastern rangers have formally withdrawn their C grade team. We will now be playing on the 10th. Team to play against and ground to be announced. Our teams will now be chosen from available players that are at training sessions this week. Please make the best effort you can to join us.

13.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE C GRADE PLAYERS. Sat 10th of October sees the start of a new season. This years draw has us with the bye for the first round. Due to this I (Frank)am requesting that all C graders attend a session at the nets on said Saturday starting at 1pm. This will allow us all to have a hit and get acquainted with some of the players we may not have yet met. I will also supply a sausage sizzle for afterwards. Byo drinks. ... See you all there.

05.01.2022 This Saturday, our A grade captain Rohan Reid will play his 250th A grade game, 170 2 day games & 79 1 day games. Starting his career as a junior for the MCC, he has developed into arguably the best country cricketer over the last 20 years. Rohans record speaks for itself. Has played in 12 A grade premierships, 7 of those in which he was skipper. Compiled over 12,000 runs @ 58.09 (37 x 100's, 69 x 50's), taken over 400 @ 13.04 wickets, represented and captained the HCA (Mey...er shield) on numerous occasions, won 7 HCA A grade player of the year awards, regular recipient of the Meadows A grade batting and player of the year awards, played state country and country carnival cricket and the list goes on...... We wish Rohan, and the team all the best for Saturday's game in his 250th time representing our proud club. Well done Rohan.

04.01.2022 Tonight with mixed emotions we are able to announce the Meadows A Grade are once again Premiers as a result of finishing minor premiers for Season 2019/20! #voniscominghome Today Cricket Australia and SACA announced that all levels of cricket would be cancelled immediately in line with other organisations around the World and Australia in an attempt to slow the spread of the CoronaVirus. Cricket Australia CEO Kevin Roberts said these measures emphasise cricket’s commitment to... slowing the spread of the coronavirus. By effectively cancelling the remainder of our season, Cricket Australia is playing its part in protecting fans, players, staff, volunteers and match officials during this unprecedented global health issue, Roberts said. The A Grade playing group are disappointed they don’t have the opportunity to win it back themselves over the coming weeks, they can take some comfort in the fact it’s on the back of an undefeated season that saw them finish 4 games clear on top of the Ladder! Furthermore, we give a nod to all teams in all grades across the HCA whose seasons come to an end tonight and miss out on the opportunity to play for the premiership. Stay safe and look after each other in the coming months!

This program is starting on Wednesday the 21st of October from 4:30pm - 5:30pm #2 Junior Comp - This covers those children wishing to play Under 10's, 12's and 14's cricket.
