25.01.2022 Hello all, Before I completely handover the reigns, I am just letting you know that I have resigned from the Meadows Hall board and am no longer involved in running the Easter Fair. Thankyou to everyone who I have worked with over the last nearly 8 years of service and Thankyou to public who have visited and enjoy what I have helped put together. The Fair will always have a special place in my heart and the stallholders, many of whom I consider friends now, who make the fair ...what it is! 22.01.2022 Our first wave of emails for 2nd Round Offers have begun to roll out! There has been a massive amount of interest so we have carefully selected new stallholders! We cannot accept everyone unfortunately! If you have enquired in the past few days please be patient as we are working through the EOI's in order of submission!

21.01.2022 A small update I have resent the first round applications to the appropriate stallholders as some people havent received them. Please check your emails if you attended the fair last year.

21.01.2022 On behalf of the committee and MMH Board we would like to wish you a happy, safe and healthy Easter. Whilst we are not spending our time as we normally would at a packed Meadows Easter Fair, we hope that everyone is able to make the best of a terrible global situation with relaxation, spending time with immediate family at home and eating chocolate. 20.01.2022 Well I can’t believe it is nearly that time again! Information for the 2020 Meadows Easter Fair will be released after the upcoming Meadows Christmas Market in December. Please go and check out the Christmas Market, lots of wondeful things being organised by that committee! As per previous years - first round offers will be sent to last years stallholders. Expressions of interest from new stallholders will be able to be submitted via www.meadowseasterfair.com.au when the for...m is made live. Please bare in mind that I am currently overseas so emails will be answered during my daytime here in Europe. I am looking forward to returning in April to run this wonderful event for the 5th time! 18.01.2022 An Update from the Hall Board The Meadows Country Market will remain closed as it stands after our board meeting tonight. A healthy discussion about its return ...was held and we are investigating the best options for the Hall, the stallholders and the local community of Meadows. We are arranging meetings with Mt Barker Council to discuss plans about events moving forward. We understand that there are people interested in its return, but please be aware that our decisions are made in consultation with regular stallholders and other stakeholders. 15.01.2022 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT 2020 After lengthy consultation with Mount Barker District Council, ALTUS and public feedback from 2019's Meadows Easter Fair a new plan for the management of traffic for the 2020 event has been developed. This is now open for public consultation and feedback. 14.01.2022 *Update* Stallholders who have filled out the expression of interest form on our website for 2nd round offers please be patient! 2nd round offers will be out next week and everyone will be notified if they were successful or not. 12.01.2022 MARKET UPDATE At the Meadows Memorial Hall board meeting tonight the reopening of the monthly market was discussed. There is no set a date for reopening due to ongoing restrictions for operating inside the hall.

03.01.2022 REMINDER! First Round Stallholders from last year, the due date is the 17th February 2020! You need to have your application complete with necessary paperwork and payment to me by the end of that day to secure your site. Failure to do so will result in your site being offered to a stallholder on the waiting list!... I will be emailing individuals this week to advise if we still require anything from you. Second round offers will be going out on the 20th February 2020 to people who are on the waiting list. 01.01.2022 AMAZING HOW TIME FLIES Hard to believe that only two weeks ago we were getting ready to welcome over 23,000 people for the 4 day Meadows Easter Fair. We had a great time putting this event on, and thank everyone who was involved again for such as successful event. 01.01.2022 **EVENT CANCELLATION** With a heavy heart, the Meadows Memorial Hall Board would like to advise that due to the escalating situation with COVID-19 or Coronavirus we have no choice but to cancel the 2020 Meadows 4 Day Easter Fair. The news today about major events need to be cancelled from PM Scott Morrison has made the decision final. The Fair has faced adversity before and continued to operate but this situation is too much of a risk to public safety and the safety of our de...dicated volunteers who have spent months planning for the Fair. The close quarters of the Easter Fair would be too much of a breeding ground for the virus if an infected person were in attendance and we would not want to cause a further spread to the most vunerable in our community. Stallholders who have been approved to attend will be refunded in full for their site fees and further details will be sent out in the coming days to arrange this. Please be patient as we have over 100+ stallholders to contact and other organisations to notify as well.
