22.01.2022 Not every day in the ocean can have perfect conditions, sometimes you know it won’t be great but the need for some salt water therapy is too great so you head out anyway and hope for the best! Yesterday morning I swam off the beach at Kirra for an adventure with the beautiful @sweetocean and @gerlindeomocean and despite the less than ideal visibility and epic amounts of seaweed, I still made some new ocean buddies - both human and animal! Bring on a clear day, I CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!

15.01.2022 Yesterday was a visit to the beautiful My Son Historical Centre which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999 due to its historical and cultural significance. With its spiritual origins stemming from Indian Hinduism, statues and stelae of Vishnu, Shiva and and Krishna can be found throughout the complex. Unfortunately My Son was heavily bombed during the Vietnam / American War and received substantial damage after the Viet Cong moved in and used the complex as a military base. What remains however are 8 groups of temples with 71 standing monuments built with a striking deep orange brick surrounded by lush green forest and a stunning mountain backdrop - a must see!

13.01.2022 SEA PUPPIES!!! Thanks to @turquoisesafaris the first bucket list item of 2020 was ticked off...and it was epic. This was my first time ever swimming with Sea Lions and what better way to do it in the crystal clear water off Jurien Bay, Western Australia. Sea Lions far exceeded any expectation I ever had....they’re playful, they’re curious, they kiss your camera, they’re so interactive and they’re hilarious! Amazing experience and I can’t wait to do it again

02.01.2022 So much daydreaming lately about ocean adventures.....I think it’s time to book a trip back!!
