25.01.2022 | Testimony Time | In the morning God spoke to us to go all in. With that in mind we went out in our community to do an open air, performing for a group and sharing the gospel. A lot of the people responded, most of them where children. After our program we went up to them to talk with everyone and pray with them and I felt drawn to go to a group of boys. With the help of our translator I was able to speak with them about having a relationship with Jesus and how we can tal...k to Him whenever we want. It was a great opportunity to hear their questions about God and it was such a blessing to talk with them about who He is and to share his love with them. 22.01.2022 | Testimony Time | We were visiting a group of women and sharing some stories of what God has done in our lives. I felt led to share the story of when I was doing ministry in the states where we saw healing in a womans knees. So after I shared this testimony, the daughter of one of the ladies who is an unbeliever said that she also had knee pain. She was happy for me to pray for her since she had been praying to God but felt like he wasnt listening and that he never answe...red any of her prayers. We explained to her that He does hear her when she prays and he always answers but maybe not in the way we think. As I prayed she said that my hands were really warm. She tested it out a few times and said that it was better. 21.01.2022 | Testimony Series | 1/4 - As a team, we hiked around two days to reach out to rural Buddhist villages that had been barely exposed to the gospel. Our intention was to stay in one area and do day treks to the various Buddhist villages that were within a few hours hike away to see if there was any medical help or teaching we could share as well as the gospel. Setting out one morning to one of these villages, we got interrupted. A father was quickly coming down, carrying his da...ughter on his back, accompanied by some other family members. We stopped them and found out that they came looking for medical attention for their daughter (we will call her Muna) who was shaking from a fever from an infection in her foot. Making our accomodation a little clinic, a few of us looked again at the foot, and saw the severity of it. Through translation we found out that there was something lodged in-between her toes and because of lack of care it got infected and mow there was an abscess. We knew it needed treatment quickly and man did we need God! 21.01.2022 testimony time In Asia we were able to offer healthcare in a village. One day a middle-aged Muslim lady came to sit on the ground with my teammate and I. She expressed to us (through a translator), that she couldn’t see very well when she read. We examined her eyes and it looked as if she had cataracts. My teammate and I still proceeded to try to find a pair of reading glasses, in hopes that we could find a pair that would help, but nothing was working. So we came to the ...conclusion that we needed to pray. I put my hands over her eyes and prayed for the eyes of her heart to be opened, along with her physical eyes. After I said amen, she looked up, grabbed my hands, and was so excited! The translator told us she was saying, I can see! It was amazing! I told her that Jesus was the one who healed her and she said she wanted to know more about Jesus. She dedicated her life to the Lord that day. She told us that she was going to have her husband read the Bible to her and left filled with the Holy Spirit. 20.01.2022 | Prayer for the Nations | Sometimes we roll out our big map that almost fully fills our auditorium and allow God to move our hearts in new ways for different nations of the world, some of which we may have never even thought of before! 19.01.2022 | testimony time | There was a health check we did where we found that this lady was blind in one of her eyes. She could not see when she was in the sun. My partner and I prayed over her, and when she tested out her sight, she had the biggest smile on her face. She said that she can see perfectly and that she is healed! There had been an accident, and that is how she lost her vision. 17.01.2022 | Testimony Series | 3/4 - She stayed at our accommodation for a few days and during that time we took another trip to a village a 2 hour plus hike away. Walking into that village it looked like I was going back in time. The homes were nestled into the mountain face with limited electricity and water. In this village we also offered any help we could give, with healthcare teaching, wound care and more. There were many children that came with issues caused by infrequent bathin...g. A couple of us spent time cleaning scabs and wounds. At the end of our time we got invited to one of the houses of an influential man of the village. We sat down with him to enjoy some chai tea. After chatting about their family a bit we found out that one of his sons was studying buddhism. I asked if he had heard of Jesus, and he was a little bit familiar with Him, and interested in knowing more. After chatting a bit more about Jesus we shared about the Bible and eventually were able to give him one. 16.01.2022 | Testimony Time | This week we had the opportunity to travel to a village where we worked with fellow believers. One night we visited a group of local women and shared the story of Hope with them. At the end, we prayed for one woman each and gave a word of knowledge (when God gives insight into someones life for them to open up to hear what God wants to say). Some of these women were already believers but the lady I spoke and prayed with was not. After giving her the word o...f knowledge she began to cry and I asked if she wanted Jesus to be her friend and lead her life. She said yes and we prayed together. Shes having struggles in her marriage and life and this not only brought hope but eternal hope and salvation! 12.01.2022 | Testimony Time | We were doing house to house visits in the mountains, and we met a woman who needed reading glasses and also had back and neck pain. We tested her eyes and, unfortunately, we did not have glasses that were the right prescription for her. I asked if we could pray for healing over her and she said yes. We prayed for her eyes as well as the neck pain she had. After the first prayer, her back and neck pain was gone! We prayed again, and tested her eyes, and t...hey were restored she was able to read the tract we had tried to give her before. Before prayer, she had seemed unconcerned about the tracts we had given her. However, after the prayer, she held the tracts as if it meant something more. In one of our times, we met a man with knee pain, and he allowed us to pray for him. After we prayed, we asked him if the pain was gone, and he starting squatting up and down with a smile on his face. Jesus healed his knee pain! 11.01.2022 | Testimony Time | From last years outreach: This week we made it a place in Nepal Ive had the honour in visiting one year ago. During one of our open airs we got to visit a village we visited the year previously. When I entered so many memories flooded back to me of how God moved so powerfully the last time and how we saw healing and salvations. There was one man specifically that I remembered that didnt accept Jesus last time but I could tell he was a person of peace. I... showed one of the villagers a picture of us together and he pointed me in the direction of the man. We got to exchange handshakes and smiles and I got to show him the picture I had with him from the year previous. We chatted for quite awhile together with the help of a pastor and his broken English. At the end of our visit I got to tell him how God highlighted him to me as someone to change his village and got to give him an audio Bible for his phone which he instantly started to listen too. The new Medical DTS students piled into the orange bus and we drove to one of the beautiful parks in the city to have our first outing as a school. People from different nations, backgrounds, passions - all gathering together for a 6 month journey with God and each other. Ah, the anticipation, nerves and excitement! The people you meet on the school often become some of your best friends as you go through several adventures and discoveries together. 05.01.2022 | Testimony Series | 2/4 - A nurse and a physiotherapist, with the support of the team, got to work! Using boiled water with salt, they soaked and cleaned the foot that was dirty. With the now much cleaner-looking foot they cared for the abscess, trying to be as clean as we could with the resources we had in our little clinic. Muna was definitely in pain at times but such a champion through the whole process! Over the period of a few days, we dried her foot and wrapped it in ...a clean plastic bag so she wasnt soaking it to prevent anymore bacteria and dirt from delaying the healing process. We were able to get her the medication needed to aid in the foots healing. Throughout the days of Muna and her family staying with us, we were able to share the gospel with her and we even played the Jesus film in the countrys language that she was able to watch while being operated on. 02.01.2022 | Testimony Series | 4/4 - Over those days that Muna was with us, her foot had healed so much and was drastically different! Muna was as well. There was so new joy restored. We had to leave that area but before we left we educated Muna and her family on how to keep caring for her healing foot, highlighting the importance of hygiene. We also prayed for her and then said our goodbyes. The discouragement and worry on their faces when they first came had lifted and you could see ...so much more peace and joy. I believe that they encountered Jesus in that time - seeing how Jesus had been able to partner with us to care and see healing in Muna as well as be exposed to the powerful message of Jesus Himself. I could tell something had shifted and there were important seeds planted in their hearts and in that family, a family that holds a position of influence in their village!
