19.01.2022 The MEDECS team would like to join with the rest of the Industry, and I think most of our clients in congratulating Stephen Noone for receiving the Trevor Leo award, presented at the Tasmanian Training Awards at Wrest Point Hobart last Friday evening. The Trevor Leo Medal was introduced in 2009 and is awarded to organisations or individuals who have made outstanding contributions to vocational education and training over a sustained period. A well deserved recognition for Stephen, for his contributions with State Enterprise Training and MEDECS Australia over the last 17 years. Stephen is currently a Director of MEDECS and continues his work in the VET sector in Tasmania. Congratulations Stephen!

14.01.2022 MEDECS Australia are recruiting a new trainer/assessor in Southern Tasmania. If you know of anyone looking for a change, who has a passion for education, get them to contact me ([email protected] / 62721843). Must have or be prepared to obtain a Cert IV Training & Assessment and have current registration with AHPRA. Obviously some education experience would be beneficial. Whilst the majority of the training we do is in the community sector, community services experience is not essential. Will initially be casual whilst learning the ropes, with a permanent contract available from the end of April 2018. PD available on request.

10.01.2022 I am pleased to announce that MEDECS Australia has secured office and training room space in Launceston in Invermay Road. All Northern operations will move to these premises from 1 February 2018. We will be having a celebration function in mid-February once everything has been set up. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal clients - our success could not have happened without your support and ongoing bookings. We love what we do, and having a permanent base in the Northern Tasmanian will only increase our footprint in this region.
