26.01.2022 Back in the year of 2001 I was fortunate to move down to Hobart and work with some wonderful people Martin Duffy (Duff TV) Dave Sheehan Dig Ler John Xintavelonis. I was part of a show called Football Life which aired on WIN TV each Saturday afternoon in promotion of the newly formed Tasmanian Devils who had entered a team back then in the Victorian Football League. Part of the show was a very popular segment called Football Culture. Dave & Martin would travel the width and b...reath of the great state that in Tasmania featuring many great community clubs and towns. Over the next few weeks I'm going to feature a culture that takes in many aspects of football in that state. 22.01.2022 Last night on A1TV The Mark Show I caught up with a former Western Suburbs newspaper Journalist Steven Milne. Steven Milne After spending 25 glorious years in and around the West, Milney reported on most sports including football, cricket, soccer, kickboxing, boxing even a little bit of trugo, Steven and I spoke about our friendship, his career, the characters the stories along the way, even his role in a reality television show in the early 2000's. Steven stills dabble a little bit in the media with the Marngrook Footy Show whilst he supports his beloved Western Bulldogs, his three beautiful children and his wife Maria Elena Milne and there love of the great outdoors. A local boy with a normal upbringing and childhood making the best of his hidden talents. Let’s hear how clemmo rolled up his sleeves and through sheer hard work, dedication and communication now runs a very successful merchandise business called @sportsmoves. Glenn has community involvement with Glenroy Football Club and in particular his active work with @strathmorecommunitybank.
