Id just arrived in Uganda for the trip of a lifetime to visit the mountain gorillas and we were ambushed by this young inquisitive female baboon ! Well I didnt either so I asked their ownerTejei and her daughter Ellie are Finnish Lapphunds (or Finnish Lapponian Dogs) a hardy, easy going, medium-size breed of Spitz type. Traditionally the breed has been used for herding reindeer. Although it is one of the most popular dog breeds in its native country, Finland, it is not very numerous outside of Nordic countries I dont think therell be much work for these guys in Australia do you?
