24.01.2022 Something to think about....

23.01.2022 In light of the recent outbreak we are returning to mostly TeleHealth consults. If you need to enter the building there will be temperature and symptoms checks. You will also be required to wear a mask as per SA Health recommendations. These steps have been introduced to keep everyone safe. Thank you for your continued support

23.01.2022 We are very lucky to have such lovely patients that spoil us. All this on a Monday morning.

22.01.2022 Another birthday today at Medical HQ. Wishing you a very happy birthday Zac

20.01.2022 With spring comes pollen and seasonal hay fever, which can cause some symptoms similar to COVID-19 symptoms. While they may share some symptoms, there are key ...differences: Hay fever does not usually cause shortness of breath unless a person has a respiratory condition, such as asthma that can be triggered by exposure to pollen. Hay fever causes watery and itchy eyes, as well as sneezing, which are not symptoms of COVID-19. Hay fever symptoms can change depending on the time of day due to pollen levels. COVID-19 can cause fever or chills, which is not a common symptom of hay fever. Symptoms of hay fever and COVID-19 can vary from person to person and range from mild to severe. If you know you routinely experience hay fever, talk to your GP about starting preventive medication early in the season, before symptoms occur. This will help to prevent or decrease your symptoms. Talk you to your GP if you are unsure if your symptoms are related to hay fever or if your symptoms differ from previous experiences.

19.01.2022 Celebrating Dr Moore’s birthday today! Grazing our way through this morning! Yummy!

19.01.2022 It’s less of a surprise if they know what’s going to happen. It really doesn’t hurt The Athelstone Respiratory Covid Clinic is open 1-5 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week. Bookings are essential. Book online https://www.hotdoc.com.au//athelstone-respiratory-/doctors... There are several other locations across Adelaide for all your testing needs

18.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION Please only attend a COVID-19 testing site if you have COVID-19 symptoms OR have been instructed to get tested by SA Heal...th. Visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidcontacttracing to find out if you are impacted by the Parafield Cluster AND are required to get tested. We are working hard to extend operating hours of clinics and put on more staff. If you need to get tested: Please be patient with staff who are working hard to organise logistics and collect samples. Be prepared for delays by bringing water and snacks. If you are attending a walk-in site, bring sun protection (sunscreen, hat, umbrella) and a chair. Keep 1.5 metres between yourself and others in line and wear a mask if possible. Do not take other people with you to get tested, other than those you need to care for. Motorists are reminded to not queue across intersections, ensure that you leave enough distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you, drive slowly through the testing sites and ensure you have enough fuel if waiting in line at a drive-through clinic. After your test: Go straight home. Avoid contact with other people. Stay in self-isolation until you receive a negative test result (in certain cases you may be required to remain in self-isolation or self-quarantine if directed to do so by SA Health or SA Police, even if you receive a negative test result). Information on how to self-isolate/self-quarantine: www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidisoadvice If you are well but worried, contact the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line on 1800 632 753

12.01.2022 Please note that wearing a mask is mandatory at all Medical HQ clinics from today onwards. Masks must be single-use surgical masks. Material/re-useable masks are not appropriate in the medical setting. If you are unable to wear a mask, Telehealth options are available. ... We appreciate your compliance during this time!

12.01.2022 -Please check the updated location list below- If you have visited any of the locations, please follow the SA Health advice & seek testing immediately if symptoms arise.

09.01.2022 As per part of the State Government's latest Directive dated 30.11.2020 - All Medical HQ clinics have a unique QR code poster located variously within each clinic. We ask that all visitors to the building 'check-in' on arrival. You do not need to check-out once you have checked-in. If you are unsure on how to do so, please ask one of our friendly staff members to assist you. Please note that although you may have checked-in via the QR code, please still present to reception... in ensure you are marked off for your appointment. We thank you for your cooperation.
