25.01.2022 Yesterday the Medical Response Team left the MCG with an incredible group of runners and supports raising money for Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) by running from Melbourne to Adelaide of 3 days. PWS is an extremely rare genetic condition effecting chromosome 15 and is estimated to effect the lives of 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 30,000 people. Medical Response are providing round the clock coverage to ensure that all runners and supporters are safe and receive rapid access to care if ...required. Each runner completes a 15km stretch before handing over to the next runner at the check point. This will see each runner complete seven 15km runs throughout the 3 days which is incredible.
