24.01.2022 What do you love about yourself? This is an important question. So often we talk negatively about ourselves... to ourselves. Let's start injecting some positive personal reinforcements. People love you, love yourself. #PukaUp #MentalHealthWeek2019

23.01.2022 Dr Mike Smith - iMed (formally MIA) presented his last Radiology Case Studies for our practitioners yesterday. It was quite emotional for our staff, Dr Smith has been an incredible support to #melbsportsmed, #midtownmedical and #msoc over the years; accommodating all of our urgent referrals, looking after our patients, offering advice and ensuring the continued professional development of our practitioners with his regular case studies and presentations. We all wish him the best as he transitions into retirement. From all of us, thank you for everything Mike #melbournesportsmedicinecentre #melbournesportsmedicine #midtownmedical #midtoanmedicalclinic #medicalspecialistsoncollins

04.01.2022 Premier Daniel Andrews announced yesterday further restrictions to elective surgeries in Melbourne. I understand the uncertainty of the situation may cause anxi...ety and stress and I’d like to update my patients on the current situation. . ################################ . IVF: Currently IVF treatments are still going ahead. I’m grateful that the Premier has specifically acknowledged the importance of continuing IVF treatments as for many women, prolonged delays can adversely affect fertility and outcomes. . ################################ . Operations: For my patients who are already booked in for a procedure, your surgery will still go ahead. For those who are planning a procedure and have not booked in, all elective surgeries apart from urgent and semi-urgent cases (otherwise known as Category 1 and urgent Category 2) are suspended. Categorization of the urgency of a procedure is made based on the individual situation of the patient but in simplified terms: . Category 1 - delay of more than 30 days may adversely affect outcome. Category 2- delay of more than 90 days may adversely affect outcome. (Only urgent Category 2 operations are being booked at the moment) Category 3- delays of up to a year will not adversely affect outcome. . ################################# . We are still awaiting direct advice from DHHS about the situation and I will continue to update you as the situation changes. If you have concerns about your clinical situation, please do not hesitate to contact my rooms. Take care of yourselves and each other! . . . . . . . #COVID19 #update #clinic #electiveoperation #ivf #ivfsuccess #ivfpregnancy #ivfaustralia #melbourneivf #fertility #fertilitytreatment #fertilityspecialist #eastmelbourne #infertilitywarrior #ivfjourney #ivftransfer #dralicehuang #ivfwarrior #womenshealth #collingwood #gynaecology #gynecology #gynaecologist #gynecologist #gynaecologistmelbourne
