02.01.2022 Tonight we did some readings about the nature of the mind; how the mind can be busy and it can be a challenge to find the silence between thoughts. The short meditations were about focusing on the breath and a few people commented on how quickly the long meditation seemed to go. Beth loves the Harmonic Project music at the final meditation. Ashley talked about becoming less identified with your thoughts and more identified with the "space" that Swami D talked about, the place of silence and strength within. It was Hiroshi's first night and he says he'd like to experience the "emptiness" he always heard about when he was growing up in Japan.
